Real Colima 1 Restaurant — Restaurant in Watsonville

I had to get my windshield replaced in pajaro, and the guy said it would take about an hour so we went out for breakfast and found this Mexican restaurant and I mean to tell you this is a real Mexican restaurant. Absolutely the best food I have ever tasted. Just went there this morning. My girlfriend was asking them for some pico de gallo they don't carry that, because all they do is carry the freshest of fresh everything so they chopped up and made her some salsa on the spot. :-)! I couldn't believe it. You do not get service like this anywhere else. Now the only drawback was I don't speak Spanish I'm half Hawaiian half Irish I don't speak Spanish I should but I'm too old I should have used Google translate because there is no English spoken here that's why you know it's a real Mexican restaurant haha I love this place I gave them as much as a tip as I could. Because I'm a broke dog. But I still gave them a nice big tip because they deserved it. The atmosphere was wonderful there weren't too many people this early in the morning having breakfast. So we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have seen anywhere. So I left it just as clean. Everything was shiny. The paint was nice. No gang writing on the wall. Isn't that amazing these days? Wonderful wonderful place I hope anybody who reads this goes there and gives it a try for some real Mexican food and the best salsa...

I put a star because: 1.- The parking lot is very small in quantity and you always have to park very far from the place and therefore walk several blocks to get there. 2.- The staff has no professionalism when serving with the client, their way of expressing themselves does not show any respect, they never made us feel welcome or well attended.

3.- The food is very expensive for the quality they give you. Example: We ordered chilaquiles that cost us the 12.99 dish and the tortillas were the same ones that give you an appetizer with sauce. They were cold and only with sauce on top. The taste never tasted like authentic Mexican food.

4.- We were only two people and they charged us tip, when they never came back to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything. As far as I know, they only charge the tip when it is a table of 8 people or more.

The super burritos are big can fill up anyone with a big appetite. Smaller portion eaters can fill up with half and still have some to take home. The burritos aren't filled with too much salad there's quite a bit of meat. The Chile Verde is always good and the chunks of meat are always tender. For about $7 you can't go wrong.
