So many good things to say about this library: first off how it is aesthetically pleasing walking in the door and how it’s purpose of serving its youth on the first floor and their reading and other audio visual components to enjoy. Then upstairs to the second floor, you get to enjoy photos of times past and part of the history involving migrant workers and other important aspects of daily life. There are various reading rooms and a small but well functioning computer room as well as natural light with many desks along the book isles— Everything is very clean and the mosaic embedded in the floor near the elevator is particularly beautiful. There are meeting rooms available and a large music section along with courteous and well-informed employees. You might call me a library junkie as I’ve lived in many places in the world and traveled and when I even go to the big cities it’s one of the places on my agenda.. Read moreThis library is one of the top notch huildings in California. It's earthquake proof, and even has a secret passage in between the walls. Always some kind of activity for kids in the Childrens area. Kids computers area is great , and the Reading Area is fantastic. Our library is always having some kind of event involving the community and invites everyone to cool off during the summer because its the only building in Town to have Air conditioner.
