Not as bad as some claim, I'd still choose this over Taco Bell unless the wallet is an issue. I ordered a Tripe Burrito, not as much meat as one would expect but it's definitely a balance. The red salsa is delicious I should have asked for 2, the burrito was great there is salt and pepper if you think or feel it's bland. I personally didnt. Hungry people aren't picky is what my Grandma would say. Overall 4 on my book the ambience could be better with some plants. Good to keep on mind they have a drive thru as well and Taco Tuesdays tacos are 1.50$ each.

Taco Tuesday! $1.50 for a carnitas taco. I wanted lengua but it is not part of the promo. The corn tortillas are good, handmade. The tacos are average and nothing to brag about. The carnitas were bland, the salsa added flavor. I like that it came with some carrots on the side. They have a drivethru, parking lot is very small. Staff was nice and food was made prompt.

Family wanted some taco truck tacos. I was driving by said let's give it a try. The tacos were dry hardly any flavor. The salsa tasted like it came from a store bought bottle. Cooks need more experience on cooking. The Burrito was ok I think the one I make at home is better. I have lots of experience eating taco truck tacos and this place doesn't come close...

I have passed by this place forever and finally stopped here yesterday after a day at nearby Sunset State Beach.

I am kicking myself for not visiting this place sooner but I will make it a point to stop here for quick eats in the future.

No. 1: it has a drive-thru! After soaking in the sun and waves, and getting in our steps, we just wanted a place with a drive-thru. To get to their drive-thru and parking lot, it's best to enter from westbound Hwy 129.

No. 2: their menu was easy to read and everything looked delish but we settled on two chicken tacos and 1 super burrito with chicken but no sour cream.

No. 3: THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! I swear my vision cleared with each bite! Perfectly seasoned, tender, juicey, savory chicken with finely chopped onions and pickled carrots on my tacos. Munchkin ate possibly the biggest super burrito he has ever had, filled with chicken, rice, beans... more. He ate it so fast, I didn't get to see much of his burrito's innards. I guess I should have taken a bite when he offered because he sucked it down like a water moccasin!

I definitely wish I ordered a couple more tacos. But it was enough to get us home without the empty stomach shakes.

No. 4: I told munchkin that the next time we want tacos and burritos, I will gladly make the drive just for this place. It is THAT GOOD!

This place is THE mic drop on fast Mexican food! Hands down!!!

(Sorry, no pictures this time because we...

food is okay and place looks dirty but it is close to my work so i visit this place every so often. this last time I placed an order for a burger. I asked no mustard or ketchup. The person on the phone went on to say that it didn't have ketchup. Since I've ordered before I know it has ketchup but I asked what it had. He said mustard, mayo, jalapenos, avocado, union, meat and lettuce. I go to pickup my order and IT HAD KETCHUP! I call back and say that i just picked up and order and it had ketchup, if they could please make a new one. He said well you didn't ask for it without ketchup. At this point I explain that I did ask without ketchup and because he said no, I asked what it came with and ketchup was not brought up by him. The guy cuts me off as I'm speaking starts yelling at me over the phone that its not his fault that i didn't order right and that he wont give me a refund if I take it back. he said in Spanish, "I don't have time for this you are wasting my time" His attitude really killed that place for me. Wont be going back. he could have just said sorry for the miscommunication instead of saying, " I know what...

I love this place! There are so many authentic Mexican restaurants in the area & taco trucks, and so many have great food. But Tacos El Jaliscience stands above the rest. I usually get chicken tacos. And I don't know what it is, but they always have this spicy(to me, lol) brown sauce - almost like a salsa/gravy or a salsa with the meat juices? It's so good. They have some seating inside, and a drive thru - which is rare combo. The prices are really good too. But the best part about this place is the people! They have always been super nice, helpful, willing to help you decide what you want and get things how you want them. Also, in October of 2022, I was walking on Riverside Dr and had a minor health emergency, and happened to go to the ground right by the door to this place. A lady that worked there was on break and came out and checked on me, told me I could come in and sit, and offered me water. It wasn't a heart attack or super serious, but still, in today's world it was so nice to see people that care and willing to...
