the food was good and the place is cute. But unfortunately one of the owners - Jimena is rude, arrogant, and her vibe is not it. Employees are more nicer than owner.
Jimena came to our table and dropped of a plate. As she came to our table, she asked, “how are you guys doing.” when we were about to answer she interrupted all of us. and asked who had this plate. as we were going to answer AGAIN. and she seen that we were cleaning/making space for this plate, she interrupted and ask irritated who had that plate. some of pointed and said “ her” (bc once again she never let us answered her). She basically threw the plate in the table and walked away.
Just because you’re the owner it doesn’t give you the right to treat or have terrible customer service. You might be the owner but reason the place is “booming” is bc all these ppl are coming and paying $$, place is a vibe, food is good a bit overpriced but good. But pls don’t think that bc you have all that or think other ppl can support, means that they gotta deal with attitude.
I understand that this is not the only owner, that there’s 3, and it’s family owned. But it only takes one person + encounter for business to go downhill especially if it’s taken to social media. Doesn’t matter how much $$$$ you, how many lip fillers, or beauty you have. All this runs out quick. Piece of advice stay humble. you don’t like serving ppl in your business...
Read moreHonestly, I think this place is very inconsistent. I ordered their “Strength Bowl” and I had to wait almost ten minutes for it. And when the employee came to the table with the bowl, he gave it to me in a tiny to-go bowl. I found this very odd because I had visited them over the weekend and they served me the same item in a completely different bowl. I asked the employee if there were different sizes for the bowls now and he said he did not know what I was talking about. I went ahead and asked another employee and they were confused on what I was talking about. Luckily I had taken a picture of the previous bowl and I showed the employee a picture of it. Suddenly she knew what I was talking about and said that she decided to make my smoothie bowl in a to-go bowl. I asked her why and she replied with a confused shrug. She told me there is no difference in the bowls and that they have the same amount of product, yet the to-go bowl is smaller than the actual bowl they serve it in. Just by simply looking at the different pictures you can see that I was absolutely robbed. And on top of that, I did not ask for any toppings to be taken off the bowl and yet they somehow took the banana toppings off. It’s a shame really. I do not understand how people can try to play...
Read moreDuring my visit to this establishment on a Sunday afternoon, I encountered several concerning issues. Notably, I observed a car occupying the handicapped parking space without a valid placard. Upon the car’s departure, I promptly relocated my own vehicle to the designated handicapped parking area, as I possess a valid placard. However, as another vehicle approached without a handicapped placard, I parked adjacent to it until it vacated the space. Surprisingly, a cafe employee intervened and instructed me to relocate my vehicle rather than addressing the other driver who had occupied a spot ostensibly reserved for individuals with disabilities. Furthermore, the owner appeared more preoccupied with engaging in conversations with her acquaintances than with providing assistance to her employees or inquiring about the quality of the food served to customers. Notably, when I ordered a flu shot, it arrived at an unusually warm temperature, like that it had been placed in a microwave for a brief period. Consequently, I requested ice to cool it down. Based on these experiences, I strongly advise against recommending this establishment and will refrain from returning...
