New to the area and have loved my experiences with other Papa John’s locations in the past I thought I’d give this one a try today. I ordered ahead on DoorDash to pick up my pizza. When I arrived on time, I waited patiently in my car for a prompt via DoorDash that my pizza was ready. I’m a regular customer with DoorDash and I have never had any problems picking up my food. In the past due time of over 30 minutes and checking physically inside with staff to see if the pizza was ready, I was alarmed at how this store is ran. No uniforms, eating other take out on the job (Wendy’s) at the front register, one employee was on his cell phone in one hand and the other had a big slice of pizza in the other, a full waiting room while the employees discussed their position on meat products (this was a heavy debate while the customers were left waiting to be greeted. The first two times I inquired about my pizza I was told it was “not ready.” The last time I checked, the employee “Jordan” checked the rack where all the finished pizzas were, did not see mine, then turned around and on the counter and grabbed a lone pizza set off to the side. She then said, “your name is wrong.” I looked and my name was missing the “e” on the end of “Kyle”. I told her I had been waiting over 30 minutes past the pickup time and asked why wasn’t I contacted to let me know the pizza was ready. Jordan’s response was “it’s the system’s fault.” Completely confused on her explanation I tried to understand with follow up questions. Jordan was cold in responding and it appeared to me that I was upsetting her. I felt horrible for making her uncomfortable and angry trying to get to the bottom of this mistake. I asked if the pizza was fresh. Jordan said it was but if I wanted to I could wait “all over again for a new pizza”. Her tone of voice was unpleasant and I decided at that moment to just take the pizza and go. Needless to say I lost my appetite, didn’t eat the pizza, and will be contacting corporate soon. My advise: Go somewhere where you’re respected and valued as a customer. I will not...
Read moreI love Papa John's, but I'm done with this location. I've ordered 3 times, and every time they've messed up my order. Also every person I've had to deal has been very rude. First time I ordered there, they messed up our order, offered credit instead of bringing my correct order (which they told me would take about 90 mins) so i accepted. 2nd time i ordered, they refused to honor the credit simply because no one marked it down that i was owed a new order. Argued with me and basically implied i was lying. Then when i did order, they messed up again, not a big mess up, so i didn't bother calling about it since i didn't feel like being called a liar twice in the same day. 3rd time was yesterday. I ordered a pizza, some wings, and garlic knots. They sent me the correct pizza, but didn't send me the wings, instead sent me breadsticks, and the garlic knots had nothing on them.... They were just bread knots. No butter, no garlic, no seasoning, nothing at all. I called to explain, the first person i talked to was absolutely rude from the second he answered the phone. Argued with me about what i ordered. I told him i was looking right at my receipt and he got rude and argued more. Finally got a manager, the manager looked, saw the employee was looking at the wrong order and read off my correct order (after muttering f*ing stupid) then says in a very rude manner, so what's ur problem? When i told him, he asked if the garlic knots had a dipping sauce, said i could just pour that on it.... Im not joking here. Then clearly not wanting to run my wings back to me just voids my entire order and says I'll get a full a refund. Im not mad about the solution, im upset about the consistent disrespect to their customers and lack of attention to detail. I will no longer go to this location and i encourage all others to avoid and go to one of the other...
Read moreMy kids love Papa John's and after the Papa John's mascot went to their school I promised to stop by and order pizza. However, the experience at this one leaves me shaking my head. First, I walked through the pungent smell of marijuana to get in the restaurant. Just to discover those in the car smoking are the employees. Then I overhear a young woman stating she is the manager, but her shorts were so short it could not have been sanitary working around food, and I was sure I had just saw her in the car that I walked passed that smelled like marijuana. I was appalled. I was shocked because if you are the manager who is your manager. Plus, my kids told me the manager was an African American female because she helped with ordering pizzas for their school. I tried to suspend judgement until it was clear that this same "manager" was having a hard time operating the register, responding to customers and supervising staff. I stood there as this clearly overwhelmed "manager" forgot to greet me and answered the call. After a few minutes, I decided it was better that I leave than give my money to a place like this. I politely exited the restaurant at that point. If this is the dress code, customer service and management experience in place, I THINK I will stick with Pizza Hut! Please value your customers enough to hire people that look professional, wash their hands and engage in their recreational activities when they are not on work hours. Always greet...
