Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Waukegan

Terrible service at this location. I was waiting inside the store to pick up a mobile order, and after about 10 minutes, several other customers who arrived after me were getting their food first. When I asked the staff about it, a young man with a mustache — who was working in the drive-thru and possibly handling mobile orders — interrupted and said, “It’s a big order for me,” even though it was just one burrito.

When I questioned that response, he became rude, dismissive, and started arguing with me. His attitude was completely unprofessional, and he even went so far as to insult me during the exchange. He told me his name was Jose, but I can’t confirm that for certain.

Next time I come back, I sincerely hope this employee has been properly trained on how to handle customer interactions. I also hope management takes this situation seriously and addresses it appropriately. If anything changes or is resolved, I will update...

This Chipotle is closest to home, but I'll never go there again. The first young lady was wiping the counter, said she would be right with me. Good job, finished cleaning counter, washed her hands, put on gloves and it was all good. Went down from there, the lady on the cash register took her time getting there, was rude and looked like I was bothering her. I had free que, but couldn't find the scan page. She didn't help me and when I asked if anyone else could help me, she answered no, everyone is busy. Needless to say, I left the food on the counter and I left. Very rude lady, I work in guest services and I definitely know how to be respectful to all guests and how to handle all concerns they may have. She doesn't!! Atmosphere there wasn't any, people eating, working behind counter and no music. Kind of boring...

i am disappointed ☹️ chipotle literally my fav restaurant today i had the worse experience and im definitely not coming back management really need to train their employees chipotle is a culture that brings freshly made food you supposed to have high standards when it comes down to cooking and providing great quality food

not only my order was not ready they couldn’t find my order she made me showed her my order twice on my phone she bad me waiting for fresh rice? which was not fresh at all my carnitas were old and. burned as dry … my steak was dry and over cooked !! this was a $41 dollar transaction this is not having high standards
