Paulina's — Restaurant in Waukegan

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is exquisite. I didn't have a lot. Just a quick bite and I can't wait to come back.

The tortillas were hand made there. I could tell, but I asked just to verify.

The steak taco meat was amazing. I rarely taste such good steak taco meat.

The chief said they make everything fresh. It takes longer, but they take pride in their food.

Excellent food, everything seems freshly made. The staff were really friendly. I had the Chilaquiles Verdes and they were made like if you were in Mexico. It’s a family business and you can tell they put a lot of hard work and pride into their food. A little pricey for my meal but of course the quality of the food...

Although the restaurant itself needs a lot of attention, I must admit the cooks are all about the taste and authentic Mexican quality of the food they serve. Our waiter was super nice , Angelina was her name ! If your looking for a quick spot to grab some turbo energy this is the spot...
