Starbucks — Restaurant in Waukegan

Usually order from app at other locations, but decided to stop in to order. The senorita girl with heavy Melania Trump makeup behind the counter took my order. It was a hot drink with coconut milk and cinnamon. She signaled something to her drink-making friend...which made me suspicious...and was proven right: Once my drink was made, it was cold! I told the llenita that it should be hot, and she fake smiled "ok, I'll remake it" which she did, but when I tasted it, it was thick - not coconut milk! I went back in and asked what the milk was she said "oh it's 2%" I said it should be coconut milk. She said "No worries, I'll remake it" I said what did the ticket say? She showed me the ticket and it said nothing about the right milk or being hot. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, until I got my 3rd drink...extremely dark taste which could only come from coffee grind juice or something. I simply caught on to the childish games and decided to take the drink and go. $6 ain't worth my frustration so early on a Saturday morn. They must want someone to go viral by flipping out...but that won't be me over coffee. Went to the Starbucks down the street and got the right order the 1st time. I would order from the app, or simply avoid this location! Management and staff should be replaced to allow this. This location is often hit or miss, however, since the manager left a few months ago, it's just continued to go downhill. I order a trenta iced tea with extra ice and it's usually either light ice or no ice at all. Today I ordered a spinach feta wrap and a trenta Green iced tea with extra ice. Instead, they made it with light ice when I asked them to correct it. Instead of dumping a little tea out and adding ice, they just added a bunch of ice on top the full drink and put the lid back on. It overflowed everywhere and then they handed it to me with tea pooled all over the top of the lid and dripping down the sides. Which is now on my white shirt. Seriously!! 😡 About 80% of the time the tea is burnt to the point where I can't drink it. I ordered a black iced tea a few days ago and it was so black you couldn't even see through the tea. I come here because it's the closest to home and work. However, I am no longer going to do that. For $5 a drink, I should be able to get a decent iced tea with reasonable customer service and enough care for your customers that you don't hand them a drink that is sloppy and dripping everywhere. 🚨🚨🚨FOOD SAFETY ALERT🚨🚨🚨 Just went to Starbucks and was eating with my daughter. The Starbucks employees gave my daughter a sandwich that they never cooked. They literally just put the sandwich in the bag. The sandwich had bacon and egg. And my daughter was nibbling it not ever knowing how a sandwich from there should be. She ate most of it like that. Until i started realizing why she was taking so long to eat it. Then I grabbed it and it was so cold and hard Because it had never been cooked. The cheese was falling apart like shards of plastic it was crazy. Of course to explain to my daughter how she should have told me something. Of course only a refund for just the sandwich.
