Street Tacos Food Truck — Restaurant in Waunakee

Best street tacos hands down!

After my first visit here I had 2 tacos, one chicken+chorizo and one shrimp+chorizo. On the way home and all I could think about was how I could definitely have one more taco. Even in the few days after I was reminiscing about how delicious they were.

Two weeks later my wife and I have returned to indulge in the tantalizing flavor of these tacos.

The service here can be a bit slow but they are worth the wait as each taco appears to be cooked to order. This is made up by the super friendly staff.

We dined there and one of the guys brought out some sliced cucumbers and radish crudites with some delicious Southwestern sauce while we waited. I don't normally eat radish but they were gone by the end of the meal.

I had 4 of the shrimp and chorizo because I remembered how 2 wasn't quite enough. Every bite was a perfect mix of sauce, shrimp, chorizo, pickled red onion, and cilantro. I opted for their spicy sauce which had a burn but not as hot as the guy made it out to be, which is good. It had a savory smokey chipotle flavor that i enjoyed a lot.

After eating 3 of the 4 tacos, I was pleasantly full, but I had one more taco to finish... ...and I did. I couldn't resist.

Now I'm sharing this review, too full to move, brain full of endorphins, telling you to not miss out on this taco truck.

Also, 3 is a perfect number.

We were in Waunakee and my friend insisted we eat lunch here. Menu seems simple with very good prices. Lots of taco varieties and both corn and flour tortillas.

We ordered burritos. On the menu they say beans and rice but they also had lettuce, guacamole, pico, and veggies inside too. The salsa on the side was very smoky and spicy. I will definitely try the tacos next time but the burrito is great for a...

This was amazing! I never want anything else! Sadly I encountered a man being rude demanding a single dollar back but these amigos are working they're tails off. This is my new favorite spot! Truly a hidden treasure is plane sight. If u haven't been I cannot encourage this enough, go try it. The other places in town...
