Prickly Boba Waxahachie — Restaurant in Waxahachie

We had stopped somewhere else that day but I was wanting a good boba tea and we found this place. We had to park a little way down from it since the area can get busy during the day but not too far. On the way there two ladies randomly told us that there was this great boba place just down the street. We didn't have the heart to tell them that we were already heading there specifically. They just seemed too happy. This did not however affect my opinion of the place. It didn't need to. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got not my usual oolong milk tea with boba but instead went for their house (regular) milk tea with boba. (Just a hint, oolong is the best) We also got a Nutella beignet, at least that's what I think it was. If you try this I suggest using a fork.

I’ve been satisfying my boba tea fix since they opened their first location in Waxahachie. Love the new location on Franklin. If you can’t find street parking, there’s free parking in garage across the street.

Love Ashley and rest of the team. Super sweet and love the creative drinks. My go-tos are the Milk Tea, Taro, Chai and Matcha. I generally do not get boba in my drinks. If I don’t pace myself, I could drink a large size in one sip! :)

Not sure if they have their ‘cool’ or different drinks just once in a while, but while our visit during Cinco de Mayo weekend they didn’t have anything really cool or different than other places.

What we ordered tasted good, and each table had a little game. Loved that! They also sell cute merchandise.

Maybe because it was a Friday afternoon but the environment didn’t feel friendly at all, nor we felt welcomed. Not kid friendly either. Took my cousin who was visiting Texas here hoping for a better vibe, but oh well.. I may come back just for...
