College Street Pub — Restaurant in Waxahachie

My son wanted to sit outside and it was beautiful the way it looked however the service was terribly bad I think it was only one lady that had all of the tables it took literally 12 minutes just for us to get a drink and then the lady served us I guess it was Diet Dr Pepper or Diet Coke it was something diet and she had to bring it back or drink after she took that and she still took a very long time when they brought our order out everybody's order was good except one and it literally took them about 11 minutes for them to bring the fish out and they brought her shrimp for the second time finally we just got the fish and we got it to go however we still were charged for the wrong order and we did leave a generous tip only because I know that I have children and I would they live off their tips but I would not choose to go to the Pug again only because the service is bad the cooks made several mistakes the server she said oh it's okay I'll just sit on the side and I'll eat it myself however not only ours was incorrect the people who sat next over to us the same thing happened to them so the cooks had all the tickets wrong but like I said I wouldn't try it again it was very nice looking though the restrooms are beautiful and the the bartender which was a lady she said thank you goodbye you have a great day I think that was the best part of us being...

I will honestly never suggest this place to anyone. My husband brought me here for our anniversary. It's very hard to find good fish and chips. I ordered Shepherds pie. It was really good, but it was loaded with peas. I love peas, but it was way too many. I didn't say anything, because they were so busy. Fish and chips were really good. I thought I would surprise my 87 year old British friend. My friend had this place confused with another one. She thought she had gone there before and didnt like the food. My friend is 87 and early stages of Dementia. The waitress took everything personal and apparently everyone in there was having a bad day. Heaven forbid if you ask how certain dishes are prepared. I've honestly never had anything happen like this before. Mainly because my friends salmon was over very well. They said it was seared. I wish I could post the picture. It was probably one of the worse experiences ever. I didn't know it was bad, until I noticed her eating out of the middle. I was so embarrassed because I gave this place so much praise, then this happened. Too much for me to even put on here....

TERRIBLE service. The whole group ordered drinks, then waited an hour to get it. Our waitress just did not care about our table ATALL and we had even told her we were celebrating someone's BIRTHDAY. We got charged for drinks we didn't get and were there from 7pm until midnight to get the few drinks we did get, only because that's how long it took her to serve them, not because we were pleased with the atmosphere. Then she had the nerve to send someone to the parking lot questioning why she got a bad tip on 1 of the 4 checks given, others were more kind so it's not like she didn't get a tip atall, but HERE are the issues #1 We watched tables that came in after us leave before us because the waitress paid them more attention, #2 we were stuck there because she had no interest in serving us properly AT ALL, # 3 Tips are earned and when you have to raise your hand like a child in elementary school to get service, I would have to say that tip was NOT EARNED.
