Absolutely love this place.

There is plenty of seating, and the staff is always respectful.

The food quality is high-grade for the city of Waycross.

This place costs a little more than most restaraunts here, but is worth every penny every time.

If you have a favorite item, you can expect consistency and reliability that it will always taste the way you tried the first time.

There is also not much waiting here. Often I havent finished the complimentary soup before the meal arrives.

A few things I can recommend include:

The Crunchy Roll: A large sized sushi made with shrimp, cream cheese, and avocado. The outer layer is crunchy with what appears to be panko breadcrumbs. This roll is oversized, very thick and hearty. I love it.

Teriyaki Udon: Udon is a thick kind of noodle, it's comparable to a less-dense gummy worm in bite. It absorbs sauces and flavors quite well, which makes me feel like I'm eating more meat. The teriyaki chicken ontop is well-glazed and marinaded for a wonderfully sweet-yet-savory flavor.

Clear Water Soup: This soup is provided to you along with fried crab and a small salad as you wait for your order to arrive. It is a thin chicken broth, which tastes of green onion, mushroom, and garlic. I could consume a gallon of this stuff.

In summary: Great food, good staff, Little to no waiting, plenty of seating, a little bit pricey but...

New owners are wonderful people. They are newlyweds (just got married in June) and have a good grasp on the food preparation and presentation. They are trying their best to make the restaurant and staff better than the previous owners. If you read the few negative reviews, you'll notice almost all of them are from the previous owners. The new owners just took over in the last few weeks.

We've eaten there several times since the new owner took over. I can tell you this..... if you liked the food and sushi before, you will love it now. I definitely see and taste the improvements he has made. It's much better now. If you were disappointed in a previous experience, I recommend you give the new owners a chance. I did, and I'm glad I did.

Prices are extremely good. If you have a special sushi you like but he doesn't normally carry, you can put in a request 3 to 5 business days in advance and he will probably order it for you. I highly recommend Fancy Q, Jay and his staff, and the food...

Love the food, atmosphere, and most of the service…. That being said, as much as I love this place (which is a lot) I am hesitant to eat here because of one waitress named Teryn. She worked here previously and left, but she has come back. Every experience we have had with her is chaotic, stressful, and overall unpleasant. I love this restaurant and we have never had bad service until we had her as a server. Over multiple visits with her as our waitress, she has been over apologetic for no reason whatsoever to the point that we don’t want to ask for extra sauce or a refill, messed up drink orders AFTER WRITING THEM DOWN, forgot to bring our salads, didn’t bring enough soups for the number of people at our table, ruined a surprise birthday dinner, messed up checks, and has no concept of personal space. Love this restaurant… but I may just be getting takeout...
