The Crest Cafe & Shoppe — Restaurant in Waycross

My wife and I recently spent out first night out together in a long while in the Crest Cafe. We both were impressed right from the start as we were welcomed into the gift shop area with a warm, "Hello, glad to have y'all" (or something similar....my mind isn't what it uses to be). Anyway, we were asked if we were dining with them and were ushered right to a table where we met an amazing server. Kindness and efficiency must have been on the menu at no charge, because that was part of the whole experience. The chef is out of this world!!!! I took my family to The Crest Cafe & Shoppe on a Saturday night. First and foremost, while the photos here on Google may show a shop, don't let them fool you. Right beyond the shop is a restaurant that is nothing short of great. You can tell the quality of the ingredients are excellent. It's obvious from the presentation and taste that the kitchen cares about putting out delicious food. As I was eating, I said to my wife, I bet the owner spent years inventing this menu in her mind. I had the Southern Chicken which was delicious. My wife had the salmon which was awesome.

Very cute place, with quality service! A lot of potential. The food was not priced too high. The deviled eggs and tater tots as an appetizer were great! I ordered the Kress burger, it wasn’t my favorite, but it was good. I enjoyed the homemade chips and the homemade Ranch dressing! The blueberry cheesecake was the perfect way to end the meal🥳.
