If we hadn't been 2 hours in with 2 hours to go on our trek from Atlantic City back to central CT, I would have taken time to take photos, but hopefully my pictureless review will provide enough insight for you to give these guys a try! It should be known that I'm from the midwest and learning what NY/New Haven/Jersey Pizza is has been interesting in the 4 years I've been in CT. I actually discovered Brunos via instagram but could never quite time a visit right, so when we were passing right by, we had to stop, especially when the window says #Cheatmealheadquarters . We ordered 1 small cheese, 1 large sausage with mushrooms and half ricotta, 1 large BBQ Chicken, 6 garlic knots, and 1 S'mores dessert pizza. We called an hour before our arrival and were told they'd be ready in 25 minutes. Once we arrived, it took just another 10 minutes or so but while we waited we got a small stuffed roll. The roll was such a good mid travel decision! Our total came to $79 for everything, and the staff were quick and friendly. Because everything was piping hot we were forced to drive with the smell of what we hoped was amazing pizza until we got home. WORTH. THE. WAIT. All 3 savory pizzas and dessert pizza were amazing. Nice NY sized slices, soft dough but not too soft, I'm a crust person and it was perfect for dipping in sauce! Our house was split on the garlic knots; I thought they were tiny but mighty in flavor, my husband thought they were lacking just a little flavor.
Overall based on menu (tons of items available!), price, taste, and customer service, we would definitely go back again, and...
Read moreThis is such a wonderful establishment! I love it so, so much! A few friends at my school told me about this place and how they had insanely delicious pizzas and dessert pizzas. I got to try one of the dessert pizzas at my school (that day) because we had a pizza fundraiser and it was so delicious!!! I’ve been wanting to go there and try more of their pizzas ever since. I then started following their page on Instagram a few years ago and I’m so glad I did (and still do) because everything looks so good! All of their pizzas they make are very creative and they put so much into it!! I finally got to go here on my birthday back in September and it was the best experience ever! I got like two slices of macaroni pizza (it was delicious) and I got dessert pizza (birthday cake, raspberry cheesecake, brownie cookie dough, and strawberry banana Nutella) the whole thing was absolutely delicious and it lasted for like about a week! Everyone in the restaurant was super nice and extremely welcoming and they provided wonderful service and had delicious food! I can’t wait to go back here...
Read moreMy fiancé and I went in for dinner last night. She ordered a crispy chicken Caesar wrap and I ordered a chicken parm over spaghetti. Im an executive chef, I know all of the ins and outs of the food industry. These people are absolutely disgusting and going to get someone sick. The only reason we sat there and tried to eat the food was because we’re nice people who don’t like to complain. These people took their “chicken cutlets” cut them into tiny cubes and dropped them into very old oil and put that in our food. When I order a chicken parm I don’t expect to get tiny cubes of chicken. The reason they did this is because they don’t change their fryer oil enough, I guarantee it’s literally smoking on top. You guys should be ashamed to sit there and serve this absolute trash to people for $34. Never ever coming back, we both had to take alka seltzers last night and woke up feeling terrible. Lucky I didn’t call the health department on you. Absolutely disgusting. If you wouldn’t serve something to your loved ones don’t charge...
