The worst customer service at any establishment I’ve ever been to. I placed an online order for pick up & I arrived at the pick up time. I came into the establishment & there was no food in the pick up counter so I kindly (emphasize on kindly) asked the workers on the status of my order. The employee at the register immediately gave me an attitude, telling me to wait & the he is busy. So I decided to not react as it was very busy so I did just that: waited. 15 minutes pass of me getting no update on my order, basically getting ignored. Customers come & go & I’m not even getting attending. So I get on line, wait my turn, and ask the cashier again & again, I get an extremely rude response, telling me he’s busy & brushed me away & points at the man who is cooking telling me to talk to him, he’s the manager. I go to the man cooking & ask him for the status of my order. The man says he’s the cook, he doesn’t know anything. I tell him the cashier JUST told me he’s the manager. He then says “oh, yea, I am.” Just completely brushing me & two other customers with mobile pick up orders off. He also was very rude & dismissive saying he’s busy & he doesn’t know anything. At this point, I’m frustrated & just ask for a refund. He gave me a hard time with that as well. He had me write my name & said he’ll refund my order when he had time. The cook/manager’s name was Sam. Extremely rude. It was disheartening as I seriously was not giving them any attitude or rushing them in any way. I would rate them 0 stars if I can. Read moreI had a terrible experience at Manhattan Bagels in Wayne location Tuesday 06/24/2025 around 2:40 PM. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely unwelcome. It was obvious they didn’t want customers coming in close to closing time, even though the store was still open. The cashier was rude, and things only got worse when Jalesca called my name for the order. had the worst attitude of all. She handed me my food in a bag instead of the basket with no explanation and spoke to me in a disrespectful tone. When I asked about my drink, she told me the cups were by the coffee machines, something no one had mentioned when I paid i was waiting for my cup the whole time. Then she said, “You know we close at 3,” in a way that clearly meant I wasn’t welcome to sit in the dining area and should just leave. I was shocked by her tone and attitude. It felt like she was rushing me out, as if my presence was a problem. I ended up canceling my order and walking out. No customer deserves to be treated this way. If Jalesca doesn’t like her job, she should consider a different career.. hospitality and customer service clearly aren’t for her. Read moreFirst visit and it was great! We stopped in after we found out Momma's Boy restaurant on the hill closed and had a gift card for here. There was a little confusion with the gift card but the woman working the register got the manager to help. This was good service as some cashiers will simply say the card has no balance. She was also quite patient with me as I can be indecisive when trying out a new place and let me know to take my time as she kept herself busy working while I made I my mind. The manager welcomed us as we entered and we even talked a bit about Mommas Boy closing. Edge though were got there 10 minutes before closing they didn't rush us out. ( Although it is rude to simply hang out while a place is closing) So we enjoyed our bagels and hot chocolate at a nice place before leaving. The bagels are delicious. They toasted then just right. I had the egg bagel with Salmon cream cheese and my wife had a bagel with Pastrami and cheese that made me bit envious too. The temperature was comfortable too, on which some places can really cheap out, so that was good too! We will definitely be back to this location even though there is one closer to us.
