Taco Bell — Restaurant in Wayne

I'm giving this location 2 stars only because it's Taco Bell, so I'm grading on a curve. I find it fascinating how franchisees have refined their ability to make a brand new location as horrible as one that's been there for years, apathetic in their service. The delicious disregard I feel in knowing that they will never answer the phone, ever, as if they do not know what one is, is astounding. They will forget part of your pick up order, and then offer you the missing item next time you are there as if your meal wasn't ruined the first time they couldn't count to five. My new favorite activity is sitting for ten minutes ordering in the app for pickup to get rewards, and then it telling me the location is not accepting pick up orders and does not carry Taco Bell items that are in the online menu. Don't try complaining ever either, this is the biggest franchise of TB in the country, and could care less about customers, they know volume and stoner business will keep them afloat, no need for good business practice or understand customers are the only reason you exist. Due to the disappointing meat content of my taco on my last visit to Taco Bell, which couldn’t have been more than an ounce of beef, I ordered extra beef this time. Although I did have quite a lot more beef, the taco overall merely had an adequate taste, even with the addition of mild sauce. The tortilla was much too thin, especially with extra meat and sauce, which quickly soaked through the tortilla and left my hands a mess. There is a crunchy tortilla option that I haven’t tried yet, but even the soft tortilla should be able to hold in all the fillings and stay together for the whole meal. On a more positive note, my mother ordered the hot Cinnabon coffee, but did not like the flavor. The staff promptly made her a regular coffee at no charge, and let us keep the Cinnabon coffee, which I drank. Originally my mom had wanted to order hot tea, but settled for coffee instead because the menu only has iced tea. Went yesterday 11/23 during their first or second day open, paid and got my food quickly, everything was fine with the order when I got home UNTIL an hour and change passes by after eating and I get extremely sick. I've had to call out of work for 2 consecutive days which infuriates me even more! I'm 99.999% sure I got food poisoning from this Taco Bell, I didn't eat or drink anything beforehand except bottled water and I've never heard of anyone getting sick from drinking Essentia. I don't know if it's just new employees with improper training and are cross contaminating food or if it's new kitchen equipment that wasn't washed correctly before use but whatever it is, it's made me EXTREMELY nauseous and can cause the same if not worse to others.
