Decent products awful customer .. terrible.. we went in at 8:45 ( they close at 9). We ordered soft cones, the snippy high school girl said they closed the soft ice cream machine 😳..ok so we ordered something else. As we were leaving a group of 4-5 people were coming in, again the rude high school girl told the group “ sorry we are closing...Whaaaa? She just turned away at least a $40.00 sale... I know it must be hard to get decent quality help these days, especially when u pay substandard wages, but I would think at least whom ever owns the business would be there to oversee operations or at least leave some one in charge. THREE TIMES IN 2 MONTHS there was hair in the ice cream!!!! The girls are super sweet and my husband and kids are big fans. I especially love the maple walnut. But this is something I just can't look over. 1st time I figured it was a fluke. No biggy. But I was grossed out. The next time in 1 night both my ice cream and my sons (same flavor) had LONG BLONDE HAIRS. I still can't stand to think of it. They NEED TO TIE UP THEIR HAIR like every other food establishment! And it's always 1 or 2 teens. No manager or boss in sight. I'm sorry I'm a 20 year plus customer to many marvels. But valley road carvel is a hard No for me. Horrible experience. Stay away. Not my first time comomg here but it will be my last. Unprofessional staff. Walk in no one else in the store. The staff dart in the backroom and ignore me and my kids. I call out asking for assistance and just hear snickering. Not even a hello or any acknowledgment or indication that there is a problem. Go back to my car and can see both through the window standing in the back room chatting. Rude and unprofessional store. Went to the Falls Creamery a couple miles away after leaving there.
