Well tonight was a night of trial and error. For some reason pasta was on the brain so I decided to try something new to us. Iâve never had stuffed mushrooms that were drenched in broth. And I have stuffed mushrooms made by my off the boat family almost every Sunday - so thatâs interesting. Soggy mushrooms make the contents of the âstuffingâ insignificant because half falls out or or is drenched just seems like a waste. The same could be said for the eggplant rollatini appetizer. There are chunks of onion in the vodka sauce (which, as far as the order goes, is our fault; it does say itâs in there) which is strange and kind of a waste. The chicken and spinach dish is exactly what it is except was quite wet and flavorless. I know that cooked spinach can be wet but it just seemed soupy. We didnât order the bread knots but they were dense and dry (the ones they gave). The bread that came with the meals is good! Not crispy if thatâs your jam. Iâd say mediocre is the best descriptor. Sadly last week sheâs been diagnosed with cancer. Sheâs had a very stricken diet , while sheâs craving for tasty pasta of taste of Tuscany. The very kind caring and generous stuff and management of taste of Tuscany made her a personal pasta for her and brought smile to the face if this beautiful young girl. My story doesnât end here , the generosity of whole team shows more when they didnât let us pay for her food. Pizzas are a disaster, years ago thos place had a good pizza but now it is basically like a frozen pizza. Dough is bland and soggy, the pie we got yesterday looked and tasted like it was saved under a counter for hours then just reheated with the toppings we ordered, that's the recipe for a bad pizza, a no no!
