La Casa de Cabana — Restaurant in Wayne

This was my second visit. The first time I went, there was a man alone, and even though it was close to closing time, he kindly made me a beautifully hand-dripped coffee, which left a good impression for this visit. I went again after 9 AM on a Saturday morning, and it was quite busy. This time, I chose a different coffee bean for the hand drip. A woman made it this time, and oh my goodness... it was my first time seeing such a carelessly made hand drip. It was incredibly rude, and I wondered how they could serve something so messily made to a customer. She even poured water abruptly while being distracted by something else, and then, realizing there was no water left, poured again while doing another task... It really upset me. However, I held back, and I'm not sure if it was the same man who made my coffee last time, but someone making an espresso finished making my coffee. He asked if I needed room for milk and treated me kindly, so I did pay for the coffee and took it home, but I still felt bad about the woman's behavior. We have been going to Cabana Coffee since they opened and great service and delicious coffee makes us repeat customers many times over. Just went today and enjoyed the outdoor seating, they added since covid started. It was so enjoyable to enjoy a fresh cold brew in the sunshine, the atmosphere is so nice you forget you are along 23. My husband has been going frequently attempting to try every brew on the menuits hard to pick a favorite. We have also bought some of the freshly roasted beans for home brewing. I'm so glad we got a coffee /roaster so close to home that is so lovely. The pour over is so nice it never takes long, like at some other places...

Usually it's difficult for me to find a spot that serves some awesome cold brew. I think I found it here. I'm glad I found out about them through an ad on Instagram. I took their recommendation and got the Coconut Cold Brew - I can see why it's a popular choice. Nice flavor and just the right balance of strength in the coffee. I didn't need ANY sugar mixed in - an added plus! Not too overpowering and bitter like Starbucks coffee.😂 When I got there, it was nice and chill with few people but then a influx of customers started pourin in.
