I see this place has a lot of positive reviews. I’m glad other people have had better experiences than me. I have never, ever left a bad review for a restaraunt before and I hope I never have to again. But for this Panera, I’ll make an exception.
I love Panera. It’s a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. However, I have been to this location 5 times over the last year, and all 5 times they have gotten my order wrong. Not once, not twice. 5 out of 5 freaking times.
Now, after the 2nd time I said wow, I should start checking my order before I leave. And I did. I’d order a soup and a sandwich and check in the store. Yup, soup and sandwich. Good to go. Then I get home and the soup or the sandwich (or both) are something completely different from what I ordered. Like what?
It doesn’t help that they’re slow to ever get you your food in the first place, at least during the times I’ve been, and then when telling them my order came out wrong I’m almost always met with a look of disbelief and doubt. It’s not until I show actual proof that anybody listens to me. I’m not a Karen, I don’t shout or scream, I literally will say calmly that they got my order wrong and they won’t believe me until I pull out the sandwich and the receipt. Having worked in retail that’s not the right way to respond to a customer issue, especially when that customer had to drive 20 minutes back to your restaraunt to return their order. McDonald’s employees are not only friendlier but have a better record for getting the order correct.
Now if you’ve made it this far, you’re probably thinking “Okay, just go to a different store then?” And I will. Luckily another Panera is opening up on 23 by where I live, and I’ll continue to go there because I do still love their food and smoothies. I just thought I could offer a piece of advice for anyone looking to go to this particular store: don’t. Go to a different one, or if you have to go to this one be prepared to wait and then be very thorough with checking your order. And then be prepared to wait again while...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Ordered through the Panera app for delivery. Received a large catering order that was not ours. Called the store 3+ times to let them know we received the wrong order and wanted the four things we ordered instead. No one answers the phone. Called customer service, we were directed to keep the food as since it had been in our home it poses a health issue. Again, we tried to return it from the beginning. The store then calls us and yells at me and my mom for opening it, saying we need to return it, and it isn’t our order. Extremely rude and demanded it be returned. It is not our fault we opened it, we did as directed after multiple attempts to return it in the first place. When they came to pick it up and gave us our order, our order itself was missing ingredients. Extremely disappointed with this experience as we love Panera. Sadly we will never order again. Whoever received the catering order, we feel for you too. Good to know they don’t care about contamination either. I have never been so disappointed with an...
Read moreThis is one of the nearly dozen locations of Panera that we've recently visited with our monthly coffee subscription. So we really get a different feel from one Panera to another.
For instance, we usually get ice coffee from Panera and among all the locations we've gone to we've found that some have given no ice in the actual iced coffee, some will put the creamer and sugar in, others will put creamer in, but not the sugar, some will put it all in one bag others will not some bring to the car while others do not.
Suffice to say each location varies a bit. not that really much of that is a problem although in an iced coffee I do want ice in my coffee, it's not enough just to be cold. but I will also say that flavor definitely definitely varies from one location to another We have 2 Paneras that make our favorite coffee. This location was one of the friendlier locations with employees actually come out with our coffee...
