Five Guys — Restaurant in Wayne

I cannot recommend this place. I found the staff friendly and accommodating, there were several things that we're just not right. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. When my order was ready she handed me the Burger but forgot the chocolate shake. When I went back and asked for the show the chick what I got was a vanilla shake that they just pumped a couple squirts of chocolate syrup into and barely even mixed. In my opinion that's not really a chocolate shake, but a lot of restaurants do that. Chocolate shakes should be made with chocolate ice cream. Every time you took a ship all you tasted was chocolate syrup. There's no point in going back and have them make a new one as the result would still be the same. I took one bite of the burger and had a mouthful of incinerated bacon. It was more like charcoal when I went to pick it up and just disintegrated and was black. I went back to the counter and ask him if they had bacon that was not totally overcooked and within a few seconds they handed me a container with bacon that seem to look cooked properly. When I put it on my burger I realized that it was still ice cold like it just came out of the refrigerator. I wasn't going to go back up to the register again. I decided to just eat it anyway, but the overwhelming Taste of Greece that needed to be changed overpowered the actual Taste of bacon. This is totally not what I expected for the price that I paid for my burger and shake what ended up being just about $19. Finally as I had just finished my burger and was ready to leave I noticed that the cook who was cooking the burgers felt that it was time to clean all the filters just about the food he was cooking for the next customers. One by one took down all the metal filters that were in the range above him and above the food. Initially I thought maybe they're closing and there's no more food to be made and they're getting ready to clean the restaurant. Well that wasn't the case as it was not even 8 p.m. yet and the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. set aside from the health risks I asked why the hell would you allow your staff to do that while still cooking food? Sadly I will not be back I should have...

Ordered online for curbside pickup ... had my son go to pick it up and kid came out and told him he was at the wrong location to go by Willowbrook. I called Rt23 location and it WAS the correct location. Told my son to leave and go back. I called and spoke to the manager who was extremely rude to me considering it was there error. Bad location , poor customer service and bad management !

Update: My son came home and said all the staff laughed at them and made a joke about it . NOT FUNNY... especially when he got home with the food and all the buns were soaked with grease and soggy. Had to throw our food out . I spent $60 on gross soggy food ... Honestly just giving everyone a heads up what they are going...

Our son loves the burgers from here so we visit on a regular basis. The service is always good and the food comes hot and delicious. Today was a different experience, it was a great one.

My son received a gift card to Five Guys and we went to use it at this location. Long story short, they couldn't process the gift card for my son's order and I thought that we'd have to hike down to Willowbrook Mall for lunch.

The store manager Jaye stepped right in and made things right. It was a wonderful experience because of her professionalism and friendliness. Kudos to Jaye for a job well done and we will definitely continue...
