UPDATE!!! Spoke with OFFICE STAFF/MANAGER & Apologies/Full Refund were given WITH A WARM SMILE & Promise that the issue will be handled accordingly. ITS FREE TO BE NICE AND TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT AS YOU WOULD WANT, I’m very much satisfied with the outcome and all though I won’t be visiting this SPECIFIC LOCATION AGAIN There is always other locations to eat. 🤗
WORST MCDONALD'S Worst McDonald’s to ever visit located on Main Street in Waynesboro, Virginia not only was the entire city experience a power outage in their residential homes to make matters worse. You have to do fast food OK cool so to try to make easy on the transaction we use the mobile app and place the $35 order, when arrived at the restaurant, we couldn’t even get in the parking lot OK so we go inside to pick up our food and no one can help because you have several people doing several things all over the place very very dysfunctional and unorganized this morning so finally, we retrieve our order we had to order fixed while we were inside we left went home realized there were no onions on the sandwich that was ordered extra onions. Realize that we had extra items that we did an asked for we were missing one other item so I go back to the store to have it corrected, assuming is correct because I deal with I go home no extra onions on my sandwich not even one onion on my sandwich so instead of going back, I called at that time the same manager who helped me inside the restaurant apologize several times told me that she would issue the refund for my steak, egg and cheese bagel meal and the store was out of onions Nobody bothered to say that to the customers so I said fine. I’ll come back and get a refund to get the refund another manager I asked to speak to her. She didn’t wanna come to the front so she sent her assistant which look like a 16-year-old child Asked for the manager again she comes to the front. I tried to explain to her what happened with my order. She threw her hands up at me and told me I need to come back tomorrow. I said no ma’am I just wanna get a refund and pick up the new order that we have, she told me she can’t do a refund. I asked she said ma’am you need to come back tomorrow. I’m asking why I don’t understand when I already spoke with the manager concerning this issue then persisted to tell me that I have to go to the corporate office that she cannot help me at all she then turned her back and walked away, I asked are you just gonna walk away and not help me she said I’m calling the police to have you removed out of here because you’re not going to curse me out I was so appalled because I never crescendo my voice. I never used any curse word I then turned around to ask my children, the children and the other guests that were standing there. Did they hear me use any profane language and they all agreed in unison no I’m very very embarrassed very upset after I called the police and spoke with the sergeant on the phone and asked moving forward. I have another mobile order that we were picking up what’s gonna happen? I was told by the officer Waynesboro PD that she needs to either fill my order or issue a refund to my surprise, she didn’t either instead she told me I was trespassing on the property and turned around and walked away again after leaving out with the Officer not only that a family member come outside, but other guest came outside to let us know that she was being very unprofessional, standing behind the counter, talking on her personal cell phone about me, raising her voice and cursing And down talking me so this is the McDonald’s treat their customers so if you wanna get treated like crap, have your money stolen and be embarrassed I recommend you go to this location. Read moreEvery single time I order,it dont matter through fash or in person they ALWAYS MESS UP MY ORDER.when they deliver n mess up I have to call n they replace the meal but when you make a habit of it they probably would think its a lie,they messed up on 3 deliveries and I called once.I no longer go to that McDonald's.
UPDATE** So my wife had placed an order at the 720 Town Center location on July 2 and per usual the order wasn't right. I called and spoke to the MOD, who was a thin lanky woman w glasses and curly hair, I only know because my wife spoke to her and got the order from her. She quickly took down my name, my order number and said next time your up this way you can get your reorder. On July 4th, I had called the location to let them know I was coming if they could please get the order ready. I was speaking to Dave, I believe was his name, and he said he was the GM and said with out a receipt or your name in our book there was nothing he could do. I said excuse me, I literally just did this 2 days ago and I have my bank statement with the purchase and my call log showing I called them that morning along with my order saved in the app. He still said sorry I need a name or reciept. I was so angry I hung up and when I called back spoke to the same woman who took down my name and when I told her my name and order number she proceeded to tell me that the only thing that proves is I can recite the number 811. At that point I told her about herself and hung up the phone. When I finally got all of my proof gathered I called back 1 last time. By accident I must have called the Main St location. I spoke to a gentleman named Shawn and I asked him if the 2 restaurants were linked. He said they were but he was the SM of the Main St store. I began to explain what happened and without and questions he told me to come on into his location and he would gladly remake the order. I couldn't believe it. The difference between customer service skills and tone of voice was like night and day. I said are you sure, I didn't feel like it was his responsibility to do that, but he did it because I was so upset over how I was being mistreated by the managers at the other location. Since Shawn has been at this McDonald's its gotten so much better. Its crazy just how 1 person can truly make all the difference. If you have the choice to which location you want to visit, just ask yourself, do I want to be mistreated or receive terrible customer service, or do I want better customer service and better food? Read moreNov 2024 update: Corporate mailed a free meal ticket, went back and the service, Food and rudeness of the on duty employees and management was just as bad as the last visit. I gave the food back and told them to eat the cold old garbage. The end of my family and me to this disgusting place.
10/21/2024 a year later.. I’m contacting corporate office to let them know they need to have this McDonalds named moved from this franchise.Then I’m going to call the HEALTH DEPARTMENT to alert them for a well needed inspection. I have never seen just a messed up situation in all my working days. 65 yrs old and this Waynesboro’s McDonald’s is a disaster just waiting to happen or make someone deathly sick. Last night they were serving soda’s with no ICE because the ice machine broke. The 2nd drive thru was not working and the intercom system was out I waited 20 min in line and then had to go around to start all over again, I WOULD BE ASHAMED to have my name associated with such a mess as this. And the owner of this franchise should be sued, to allow such goings on as this. CLOSE IT IF YOU CANT DO JOB RIGHT!!

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT I HAD TO ASK WHERE WERE MY FRIES? AND THE ASSOCIATE WAS HANDING MY FRIES TO ME WITHOUT A BAG, I LOOKED AT HER AS IF TO SAY "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" I TOLD HER TO PLACE THE FRIES IN A BAG. I HAD TO AGAIN, ASK FOR NAPKINS AND KETCHUP. JUST TERRIBLE. I GAVE HER THE KETCHUP BACK IT WAS ALL STICKY AND MY HAND WAS LEFT STICKY WITH WHAT EVER WAS ON THE KETCHUP PACK. TRULY A MISTAKE I ALMOST WENT TO BURGER KING WISH I HAD WENT WITH MY 1ST THOUGHT. ALL THIS FOR $14.00 SMALL FRIE, 1 MAC, AND A FEW PIES FOR OTHERS, THAT TOLD ME THEY TOO WERE TERRIBLE.
