Northview Drive Inn — Restaurant in Webster

Visited Aug 8, 2023. I ordered a hamburger with fried onions, with a side of mayo, girlfriend ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and we each ordered root beer. The food was prepared very quickly, and hot. There were 2 or 3 other cars there, so it wasnt very busy. They forgot to include the side of Mayo, which is kind of important to me. Plus, she never came back to ask if the meal was okay, where I would have pointed it out that she forgot the mayo. We stopped in because of the great reviews, but to us, it was "average" food, and a smidge below average service. It would be wise to implement a quick check with the customer, to make sure all is good. The beef seemed pretty high quality. Mon 330 no on there. I called for a 1/2 chicken basket to go. Pretty easy. She puts the phone down and I wait. And wait and wait then she answers again. I repeat. I want a 1/2 chicken basket to go. She asks 3 or 5 piece. I repeat 4 or 5 times I want the 1/2 chicken ,she just didn't get it for a while. When I got there I could see these people weren't hired for intelligence. We will NEVER COME BACK EVER AGAIN. Out of a dozen times we have been there, you have lost our order 3 times...no apology...after waiting 45 minutes we finally left this time, we didn't honk at you to find our food One of your car hops looked at us in horror because she thought we were leaving with your tray, then you could see her say to the other car hop...oh, they been here awhile and they never got their food We had a WONDERFUL DINNER delivered in 5 minutes up in DANBURY...They will get our business...
