Awful, AWFUL customer service during late night drive thru. Same guy, each time. I'm assuming he's a manager bc he isn't wearing a Wendy's shirt. I Door Dash, so I'm there often. And each time I'm there I'm asked (by him) to pull up to the curb to wait for the order. Every single time, I am the ONLY vehicle in the drive thru and the lobby is closed. The first time he asked, I pointed out no one was behind me but I'd move if someone did come up. He told me they are trying to win a contest on fastest drive thru time against other stores. I'm like "ehh, that's cheating, but whatever". So, I pull up. I get forgotten about. Other night I waited 17 mins for a single burger, fry and drink. Next night 11 mins for 2 orders of nuggets, one single and drink. This happens every single time. Well, tonight I politely said, again, if a car pulls up I'll move but I'm not pulling up to be forgotten to help you win a contest. He did NOT like that. I rolled my window up to wait on the order and he stood with his head outside of the drive thru window staring at me in my car for FOUR mins! Doesn't seem long, but have you ever had someone stare at you for 4 mins trying to intimidate you?? Was so creepy. He then screamed at me telling me I messed up his clock.. my wait time tonight for 4 burgers was 14 mins (again, only customer AND order was supposed to be completed before I was even greeted at the speaker box, no one greeted me, I said hello several times) This guy is odd and honestly, aggressive. If I were a paying customer dealing with him, I'd never go back. But this is a way I make extra income, so don't really have a choice. Read moreBefore you leave the drive thru make sure you have what you ordered. I ordered 2 sandwiches one was a meal “biggie sized”. They handed me one sandwich. I noticed that and asked for the other one. They got it and gave it to me. No “sorry” no nothing. I got home and the fries were small sized and ice cold. No receipt either. I called to complain and “Doris” said they were short handed (although the parking lot was empty) and if I wanted to drive back to the store I could get me meal replaced. Is she going to reimburse my time? I was also told that they only give receipts upon request and that their store number was a secret. This is the worst Wendy’s in the area. Do yourself a favor. Read moreI have gone here twice in the last month. Figured first trip was just a bad experience but my second trip proved it is an ongoing issue. Twice I went to order and stood there just being looked at no one even said hello. Then when I finally got my food both times looked like an elementary student made it because it was just thrown together. It was so bad I threw it away both times. Never have this poor service or food quality when I go to the Weirton or Steubenville location.
