I have ordered from this store before and had the food delivered. We live 13 minutes away. I ordered the food about 6:30 PM on 9/15/25 and kept receiving notifications that the food was being prepared, was ready, and our driver was on the way. Around 7:15, I get a call from the store saying my house was "outside of their delivery zone." The food had already been made and was at the store. I asked the employee why they had made the whole order before realizing this and they said "I don't know. I haven't been here all day and my manager just said to call and tell you." I honestly felt bad for the employee on the phone because they were so apologetic and embarrassed to be making the phone call. I said I would go pickup the order. I got into the car with my two kids and brother and drove to the store. While on the way, the DRIVER called to confirm my address. I told them I was on the way to the store to get the food as I was told it couldn't be delivered to be. The driver kept talking over me to someone else the WHOLE phone call and when I finally got his attention, he said they set the food aside. I arrived at the store where there were only 3 people working. One was supposed to be running the register but was on the work phone for a long time taking an order. One was cooking the pizza and the manager was barking orders at the employees, picking up the phone, telling them to hold and slamming the receiver down before finally attending to the customers at the counter. When she got to me, I told her my name and she went and got the order. I asked how I can know in the future if my residence is outside of their delivery radius and she said she would have to give a list of addresses to corporate. I said that it was really ridiculous that my pizza had been sitting for over an hour and was fully made before the restaurant realized their mistake. She just stared at me and went "So do you want me to void your payment?" With a serious attitude. I said yes and she said "Fine, have a good day" in the rudest way while dismissing me. Read moreHORRIBLE. I ordered on my mobile app like I always do at the Wendell location. Order was put in at 5:13 pm and order was ready at 5:22 pm. My husband and son get there at 5:26 pm and they can't find the order. They proceed to tell him that "something blew up" and it needed to be fixed. What blew up he did not know? He called me at 5:38 pm and is still waiting. I called them very upset and was put on hold for 2 minutes. A young lady picked up and I asked for a manager and she stated she was the manager. I proceeded to tell her that I ordered our dinner and the app said it was ready at 5:22 pm and my husband and child had been waiting for 20 minutes and nothing is ready. She proceeded to tell me that one of the pizza's were messed up and that's why it is taking so long. So I said "OK, so why is it still taking 20 minutes to make 1 pizza when it took 9 minutes to make a large order?!" She proceeded to tell me that they are busy. OK, so I asked her I understood that but our order should be in front of everyone's since my family is in there waiting and it was a mess up on their end! All this time she truly was all nonchalant like she could care less and said "sorry for the misunderstanding." I asked her is that all she has to say over this, like really. she truly could care less. I will never order from here again. My husband said there was nothing but young people working and when he spoke with her, she really gave him the impression like she didn't care either and was not willing to fix anything. After me working in the restaurant industry for almost 10 yrs myself, this was highly unprofessional and unacceptable and this should have been handled differently and this young lady is not fit for a manager's position. Read moreI ordered pizza from Dominos in Wendell and I live in Zebulon so I figured I would drive over to pick it up. The girl who took my order was very rude and I could tell she was trying to rush me off the phone. When I went to pick it up and got home one of the pizzas was not right. So I figured I would just call and get it resolved for the next time I order since I was already home and had started eating already. The girl on the phone says that they will send the corrected pizza out to my house and I will return the wrong pizza so I explained to her that I didn’t expect that so I had already started eating and she says well there’s nothing we can do about the pizza being wrong since you already started eating and I asked her well what about the inconvenience of the pizza being wrong and she said there was nothing that can be done. Even if I had not eaten yet I still would have had to wait another 45 minutes to get my pizza. I will NOT be ordering from this dominos again and I knew I should have ordered from Papa Johns like I started too. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and the store manager/owner needs to train their employees to have better customer service. I will also be contacting corporate to report this because I was willing to just eat the wrong pizza and let it go if they would fix it the next order but to be forced to eat the wrong pizza AND pay for something i didn’t want is just flat out wrong. Out of all the pizza places I could have spent my hard earned money I chose Dominos in Wendell and it was a terrible mistake that I will not be making again.
