Grandma's #1 Snow Wiz — Restaurant in Weslaco

I've been to grandmas a handful of times and every time I go the service is so-so. Today takes the cake though, I order what I always get (Black cherry Piccadilly with gummy bears and extra kool-aid) I get my order taken by a girl who seems to not want to be there, get my raspa and start heading home. About halfway through my rasps I notice something in there that isn't extra kool-aid and Isn't a gummy bear. it's a fly, and not some small little oops I didn't see it fly, I mean a big @$$ fly. if it let me post a picture I would but I don't see the option. Looks like the Health inspector is getting a call first thing Monday morning. Update: I went back and spoke to the manager and she says that "they have no flies in the stand." IF THE FLY IS THE SAME COLOR AS THE RASPA AND I HAVENT BEEN OUTSIDE SINCE GETTING THE RASPA HOW IS THE FLY A BLACK CHERRY RED COLOR? No food place is perfect but at least own up to it. I don't even know who attended us. I understand the importance of educating their customers, but they need to train their employees better into listening to their customer requests better. Literally almost got into an argument for gummy bears. The young lady taking the orders repeated exactly what I had asked for, yet the owner or whoever it was, made it seem as if I was at fault for not paying attention to her. I know exactly what I said and what she repeated. The young lady just couldn't pass the information properly. Worst service ever. Don't blame your customers for employees mistakes, it's not our fault they cannot relay the information...

I have always stopped by this raspa stand everytime on my way to my parents house. I've been going to them since I was a young kid. I've gone during & after a storm just to get me some raspas! I was sad when it was burned down but I am happy they rebuilt cause I don't like to go anywhere else for raspas. And recently they added card payment with a requirement of a $10 minimum & here at this place says alot cause at others places 2 items could cost me over $8 & it just isn't the same quality.
