First things first I just want to wish everyone Happy Holidays! But my experience was mad today 12/13 @9pm. I pulled up to order I don’t or never worked for McDonald’s so I didn’t know if to large a order was value size or large order just like whataburger understands whatasize, anyways so I said value size I then drive up to pay once I was at the part to get my food the very nice employee said my order and medium fries I said no I ordered a value size he then told the manager she then got my bag and said it’s not a value size you mean large fries AND THEN THROW, Tossed my food to the employee I told the employee to tell if she could please not throw my food like that he apologize it wasn’t him it was THE MANAGER, she was then mumbling in the back cause all employees had their attention that direction I politely asked the employee which was correct way to say it then. He notified me how ok fine, I asked ok so she’s the manager he said yes I told him well she shouldn’t be like that his response was it’s been stressful these days which I UNDERSTAND. I am never a Karen never plan to be one cause I hate rude people out there, everyone is stressed I have a stressful job don’t want to deal with rude people after work so! Why in the world having all that space would they have built such a narrow drive through! They have two places to drive up and place an order which is great. But as soon as you order and if its full of cars and when you proceed to pay the lines cluster. Its a mess. The two lines merge and create a mess. No coordination on drive thru traffic. All that land they have there they should have really widen that drive through. Another thing I noticed is that those young incompetent people working there were messing up on orders. While waiting in line I noticed a couple of customers had to go inside to have their orders corrected. What a mess. Such a shame that its a brand new restaurant. I for one rather go else...
Read moreThis is the worse McDonalds in the RGV. Worse yet is that it's the only McDonalds near us in Mercedes. The fries are consistently cold. It use to be that the fries were fresh and warm....not any longer. There is no longer such a thing as made to order. Today I ordered 2 medium McFlurrys, Quarter Pounder meal and a Hot&Spicy chicken sandwich. The latter was cold. Both of our McFlurrys were half filled and sloppy. Lastyly, I was not given a receipt. I have to wonder if that was on purpose and to keep us from complaining because you have to have a receipt in order to be redeemed. I rated this complaint as a one star complaint and this was simply because you can't submit your reviews without selecting a star. To the owner, you should be ashamed of your restaurant.
