I hate the phrase "dive bar". So what. It's small, Abit worn and dim inside. Maybe even you can call it ragged.

Ignore all that, in my view, a bar is just a smaller pub, your neighborhood hangout.

Which this place is. Bottle beer, rail booze, frozen pizzas, pool tables and darts with good music. An experience in The Local Hangout.

Even at the busiest, this place remains fun. When it is slow, like this late Thursday, you get a quiet respite from life where you can grab a bottle or booze your way for a fair price, and just relax and feel better.

This bar is right in my neighborhood so I decided to stop in tonight, have a drink and watch the Brewers game. I sat at the bar for 5 minutes and there was no bartender behind the bar. Then presumably the bartender which turns out is sitting in the seat next to me, looked right at me and continue to drinking his drink and talking to the other patrons. Boosters is a great bar. I go there after work to unwind. Have a couple beers before bed. The bartenders are all great. Very attentive. They have free pool, punching game, video gambling games, bar dice, and shake of the day. Very entertaining. Just the right place to take your mind off things before you go home and head to bed.
