Walked in and sat at the bar. I asked if they had a drink menu and was told NO and the bartender walked away. I couldn't read what was on the tap. The bartender came back and asked again what I would like to drink. I said Ill just have a Modelo. She asked are you sure? I didn't know how to answer that since I didn't know what they had. Got my drink and got a food menu. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries. The burger was from frozen (fine I can deal with that) but, it was bland, dry, and left a wierd film in my mouth. The fries were the best thing on my plate. Got halfway through my food and ran out of my drink. The bartender never asked if i wanted another as she was too busy talking with other customers and on the computer. I was finishing up and the waitress finally got me a beer. I looked over at the kitchen area at this time and there was a filthy spatula hanging on the refrigerator that looked as it had been there all day with dried food stuck to it. Absolutely disgusting! It didn't stop there after I started to pay attention. There was dirty handprints all over the door of the refrigerator. Food was stored improperly in there also. I was disgusted. I took out my wallet to pay because at this point I just wanted out of there. The waitress seen that I took my wallet out and offered to cash me out, I said yes please. She walked around and started to cash me out and the bartender came over as said "you could have asked me" with a dirty tone in her voice. I didn't even know how to reply. I paid the bill and left. Hopefully I don't get sick tonight. I...
Read moreOne of the worst customer service experiences ever. My significant other, my friend and I walked in and had to seat ourselves. Fine, we found a table, sat and patiently waiting for a server to come. About 10 minutes later my signifcant other, my friend and I were tired of waiting. My friend walked up to the bar and ordered our drinks. She opened a tap and brought the drinks back to our table. We looked at the menu for another 10 minutes or so and had to waive a server over whom finally took our orders and placed them. 20 minutes later my friends name was called to come up to the bar and pick up our orders. We didn't hear it, it was very lould. A server brought our orders to the table and said, "We called your name." My friend and I looked at eachother with a look of confusion on our faces! Apparently, we didnt know this was a fast food, not a sit-down restaurant. After the server put our food on our table, my friend asked for him to get 2 more drinks. He said, "You have to go to the bar and order those." Ok. I waited for about a minute and realized we had no silverware or napkins. I walked up to the bar to find all of those items in buckets. I brought the items we needed back to our table. At that point, I learned these servers don't bring food, napkins, forks or drinks yet, are probably expecting a tip. While we were eating, not one server came to our table to ask if we needed anything else or if we enjoyed the food. We finished eating. My friend walked to the bar once again only this time to pay the bill. She left a $10.00 tip. I wouldn't have...
Read moreFrom reviews to walking in the initial opinion was positive. It seems nice and vibrant inside in terms of the energy of the patrons.
I went with my fiance as his designated driver. He is 21, I am 20. Now im aware that I cannot drink due to being under the legal drinking age, but I have never had an issue being in a bar with him as he was at least the legal age and I'm over 18.
I understand that final call is up to the bar owner/bartender, but here is where I was honestly just taken aback:
The bartender lady came over and asked to see ID. She took mine first, looked at it and then looked back at me and back at my card. "You're 20?" She asked as if I had handed her a fake ID or something. I told her yes, im my fiancé's designated driver for the night. She immediately told me "you guys cant be in here." Didn't check my fiancé's ID. Came off very rude with her tone of voice. I would have had no issue if she had talked nicely, instead of loudly stating in front of the bar "you guys cant be in here, you need to go." Embarrassing and poor customer service tone. Ruined a mood.
I have nothing against personal policy when in comes to who they let in, I understand some bars will not allow anyone under 21 in. But the manner in which you tell someone that you dont allow anyone under 21 without a parent/guardian to even be inside the bar should at least be a respectful one...
