Cataro's Italian Villa — Restaurant in West Allis

I feel the need to review after reading how people dislike “the lady on the other end of the phone”.. I’ve ordered from here many times and have interacted with her in person and over the phone almost every time. If your standard of service is based on Martha Stewart level expectations, then you’ll totally miss how incredibly kind-hearted she actually is and how well she treats her customers. You sensitive keyboard warriors must not have a strong female figure in your life that doesn’t waste time on fluff and sweet talk, so I can understand why you may not appreciate her and perhaps shouldn’t order here.

There are times they are unable to answer the phone and you’ll receive their voicemail. Without fail they have always returned the call within minutes if staffing permits. You don’t even have to leave a voicemail for this.

If you are willing lay your sensitivity to rest, you’ll find this pizza is one of Milwaukee’s BEST. We’ve tried a couple of their pasta dishes and were blown away, but this place really is our go-to for thin crust pizza. It’s beats out 95% of all other MKE joints.

Would give this place a zero if I could, whole family of 6 of us went here after a whole day of moving and were hungry and looking for good food. We were the only table in the entire restaurant and we ordered some drinks soda, bottled beer, water, mixed drink. Took over 15 mins to receive. So we kindly explained to the waitress we were very hungry and kindly asked how long our food would take, she stated over 25 mins the men in kitchen were incompetent. We looked at each other and told her we would just take the bill for drinks then. The waitress then brought the bill over and stated good luck not starving I don't know where you will eat faster than 25 mins other than Little Caesars or Subway. HORRIBLE...

We had got the lasagna and spaghetti dinners along with some chicken strips and minestrone. Everything was good, but the lasagna, the sauce was dark like BBQ sauce and smelled like the sauce got burnt while being cooked, it almost made me throw up!!!!! The spaghetti sauce wasn't as dark and didn't smell but it wasn't all that great either, defiantly had 10× better!!!!!! I tried to put some extra salt on the spaghetti to hope that it would help with the taste but of course it didn't!!! I can only imagine how the pizza tastes!!!! Defiantly not a good Italian place for lasagna, spaghetti and I'm pretty sure the pizza also!!!! I'm super pissed off I wasted my time and money on this place, never again that's...
