Manny's bourbon grill and pub — Restaurant in West Allis

Went there recently to see if the wings, which were so good with Johnny hammers, came back. I am happy to report that the wings were great.

Had cheddar jalepona, and they were just like, I remember from Hammers. They were fresh, cooked perfectly, and seasoned Just right.

I also got the Krankie flaovr wings, and although they weren't hot (spicy), they had a good sweet flavor to them and again cooked perfectly.

My wife got the steak chimichanges. I am not a deep-fried food type fan, BUT DAM, there WERE AMAZING!!! Best steak flavored Mexican food I have had.

The bartender was super polite, and the bar was clean. My only complaint is the atmosphere. They play Mexican music, which I am not a fan of, but it is a Mexican restaurant/ bar, so it is what it is and the food was so good that won't stop me...

We were greeted pleasantly & then everything went downhill...service was mediocre at best.....per our receipt, our food order took 33 min....it was an order of loaded fries & chimichamgas. When we finally received our food, it was not hot...my chimichanga was dry & difficult to eat. This was my first time here. I had the chicken bourbon bowl. It had very good flavor, FRESH peppers and onions, LOTS of chicken and large portion size overall. The price was extremely reasonable, too! In a time where portion sizes have gotten smaller and prices higher, there was no skimping on quality or quantity with our meal here!
