What in the world happened?! I bought 2 challah, 6 sufganyot, and a brownie and all of it was dry / not flavorful. There was ZERO jelly in the first strawberry donut, and virtually none in the others. I took my Israeli fiance here so we could incorporate some of her favorites when we celebrate Hanukkah. We wanted to make a good impression with my parents, but when we presented the baked goods we were so embarrassed... I can't believe these were such poor quality. Who knew such a good place could get so bad. Looks like I'm gonna have to find a new Jewish bakery now 😞

It was the final day of the Festival of Lights and we were in need of some sweet treats. We stopped in to pick up some hammentaschen and rugelach. We eneded up leaving with much more. The treats were fresh and delicious. Our guests loved them. The service at the bakery was wonderful and the bakery is kept nice and tidy. It's now our 'go to' place for holiday treats.

I went in looking for something quick to eat and was fascinated by the variety of baked goods. The cashier was very friendly and informative, I’m glad I stopped in. I had the mini pumpkin loaf and got to sample the kichel, both I enjoyed. The seven layer cake was so rich a little slice goes a long way!

Ive been going to this bakery my entire life, and in the past 3 years the quality has gone down hill a lot. Everything used to be amazing, now so much feels dry and cheap. I know ingredients can be expensive these days, but we can taste a difference.

I really dislike the switch from using fresh onions on the onion boards and onion rolls, I used to come here once a week and today I walked in and didn’t even buy anything, nothing looked good.

Not sure what has happened to my favorite bakery over the past few years, but it makes me sad to see the decline. And now I hear Star bakery is closing too, I really hope that diamond bakery can pull itself back together and become the flavorful high quality jewish bakery that it used to be for...

This is the second time I bought fresh rye bread with seeds and got it home for dinner, with company, that the bread tasted days old. Not just day old- hard as a rock crusty ends that were impossible to chew. Inside bread slices were dry and crumbly. If I wanted day old bread, I would have bought it. I used to buy the rye bread here and it tasted fresh for days after purchase. So I guess, once bitten, twice shy. I was embarrassed that my guests questioned where I got the bread. Never going to buy bread again from this bakery. Been a customer for a VERY LONG time. What happened to this fantastic bakery? New bakers? The last time I bought my challah bread there, it was also...

Love Diamond Bakery the last 30 years! Literally! Unfortunately, the last few months I have went in there, they do not the same items as before. They used to have these cookies wrapped in jelly (kolakes?) and they do not have them. I asked one of the workers and they said new leadership decided not to make them. Those cookies used to sell like hotcakes on the weekends, and I would purposely be there early just to buy them, that amongst other items they do not carry.. Not the same at all.. That is the only reason why I used to go every Saturday for those other cookies and other pastries...
