I've been wanting to try Tiger Sugar for a long time, so I'm super excited to be introduced to this location. This location is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Orchard Lake. It's super cute and has a little bit of seating inside. The barista was really friendly and offered suggestions based on my preferences and that was greatly appreciated. I was concerned that the drinks would be too sweet, but they are not! The barista was telling me that they are sweetened by Asian tastes which means they are not as sweet as one would think. Very easy to drink and I can see myself dropping into this location many more times to come.
I like coffee so #4 is my favorite. It's a brown sugar latte but it had the perfect amount of sweetness and coffee. It was well balanced and the two types of boba and the cream on top really elevated it. I went with #F5 as my second option. I wanted something on the opposite end of the spectrum. The barista used green jasmine tea in the drink. It was mildly sweet and tart. Really enjoyable.

Order via the kiosk, I got their signature (#1), XL, half sweet. We had four order and just one person working behind the counter, it took some time but for someone working by himself, the order came relatively faster than I had expected.
This is my first time having Tiger in the states.... last time I had it was back in Taiwan. You can't compare the taste with the original back in Taiwan, it was decent. It came in a hello kitty paper cup, but I had expected it in clear plastic cup, but disappointed but at the end of the day, taste is all that mattered.
It was nice to try different brand/chain of bubble tea. Definitely worth visiting... if you are in the area for dinner, stop by for some dessert and get yourself...
Read moreI am so glad they opened this location since it is on the west side of Metro Detroit where I live. When I was there others from Ann Arbor and Flint was there so they drove just to enjoy. I will be the first to tell you that I really don't like either tea or coffee but found at least 2 drinks I will come back for. Passion Fruit green tea is wonderful. No. 1 cream tea is also good. Since I am up here every 4 weeks anyway, I will be back. Lots of parking but it is in the back corner of a strip mall so you might have to Google the location...
