Really excellent food here! Quality is very high on all the ingredients. Love their sandwich buns. Agua fresca is tasty and refreshing, and the fries are crispy and topped with the best ranch. Both the pork katsu sando and the brisket were very satisfying sandwiches. I recently tried the lasagna, and it might be my favorite lasagna I’ve ever had. The tacos are pretty good, but the ones I had were a bit under-seasoned. They still hit the spot though! We like to sit and wait for the food and eat right there while it’s fresh.

The food is always fresh and flavorful, with an option for everyone, including vegetarian options! The chefs certainly have a way with flavor combinations. Menu does change, and some of my favorites have included green pea falafel, portobello Cuban sandwich, and the currently offered cold soba noodles. Cheers to Chefs Leslie and Dan for always bringing quality and deliciousness! Also, make sure to walk over to the Old Stone Church after lunch.

Just happened to cross this for truck on our way back from Mt Wachusett. A happy accident as the food was great and the two owners very pleasant. They tried to accommodate food allergies where possible. I can see this as a good pit stop when visiting Wachusett Reservoir or the Wachusett area more generally.

I stopped by Mortar and Pestle with three other people on a Saturday afternoon after seeing it was near the reservoir. I had heard good things so we decided to go for lunch. We had an exceptional experience, courtesy of the two owners Dan and Lindsey. The service was prompt and friendly, and our food was delivered to us at our picnic table. We ordered a wide array of their menu, including Pea Falafel, a Salad, a Steak and Cheese, Curry Poutine and two tacos. We also ordered a mint and strawberry agua fresca for each person.

The food was incredible. Everyone at the table finished every single bite of food, and everyone sampled each item. The barbacoa tacos were the best tacos I have ever had, and was a great combination of textures and flavors. I had to stop from ordering more of them to take home. The agua fresca was incredibly refreshing and paired well with my meal. Everyone else raved about the food and discussed when we...

I was driving along, admiring the scenery, feeling hungry when I saw the food truck. I am so happy I stopped. These folks obviously love preparing food, and are discerning cooks who care about their ingredients and their results. I had a hard time deciding which of several items to choose, finally deciding on the Coconut Lentil Soup. Oh, was it ever delicious! A perfect melding of French green lentils in a light broth containing some coconut milk, carrots, and some kale, I think, blew me away with its delicate aroma and flavor. This was a little dish of comfort one would expect from a big city, four star restaurant with a chef who's making waves in the culinary world. Do your tastebuds a favor, get something...

Every bite of every meal I’ve ever gotten from here has me exclaiming, “this is SO good!!!!” Today my spouse and I had the garlic wedge fries w/ sambal aioli (perfectly spiced by the way) and the green pea falafel (somehow so much more moist and decadent than any other falafel I’ve ever had and the flatbread……she’s perfect), but the real star of the show were the orange ricotta donuts with blueberry sugar. Those donuts are the DEFINITION of succulent! They melt away into such beautiful fruit flavors all while being wonderfully crispy on the outside…I digress. Y’all need to go here! It is imperative! A need!!!! We’ve never been disappointed. These folks clearly love food and flavor...
