The place is small but has a lot of character. They have a large menu and live music on some days. There is only outdoor dining. My husband and I have had southern food and gator before from South Carolina and Florida. The food was good. The gator sasuage bo boy and nola gumbo is great! The gator nuggets are not so great. They are a little tough and almost have no flavor except for the sauce. Just so you know, good gator is supposed to have an in-between taste and texture of fish and chicken. The service is kind of iffy. I say this because the staff were nice, but we had to ask about our food after waiting an hour. The staff members forgot that we were dining outside and had our food packaged and ready to go sitting on the counter, so when we ate, it was kind of cold. But as an apology, they did give us Nola gumbo for free. All in all, it was great, and we will be back again.

Shrimp Po boy was fire. Authentic remoulade sauce. Gator bites were what you'd expect if you've had gator before. Smells like New Orleans when you pullup, looks like New Orleans as well

Stopped in after a visit to the Worcester Art Museum when we saw NOLA and 5 stars! Met owner/chef Robert, who grew up in the Big Easy, and tried many New Orleans and Cajun favorites, and a few new ones! Fried okra was served with a semi-spicy sauce that offset the crispy coating. The NOLA gumbo was a bit spicy, but perfect with a large number of shrimp! Red beans and rice reminded me of Bourbon Street cafes and the fried catfish po-boy was perfect, and big enough to share!. The Boudin Balls we're new to us and are Cajun sausage balls, coated and fried, served with a spicy Cajun dipping sauce! There are only 4 or 5 tables, and lots of takeout service, but come in and stay for dinner amazing food and talk!

Hi my name is Chris. This is the Best seafood I ever had. I'm a shrimp guy and I love my spicy food. I can't ever find a place that beats this place. Food is always fresh. The family that owns this are amazing people, and no matter what and whenever their welcoming is always amazing. They always have a smile on their face. The son that is always there to help out is great as well. I can't never go wrong with the shrimp garlic noodles with extra shrimp and hot or extra hot. I have been coming here for the longest time with my latest wife that has passed away and this is one of our spots. Going here and traveling one hour and a few minutes for good memories and to see loving faces that I can get good conversations while waiting for my food makes me happy. I see them like close friends. But I also see them as my food family haha, 🤣 the only problem is I am paying haha. But no joke that family can cook. If you are a millionaire shoot hire this guy to be your chief because I know I would. But I definitely would love to see them expand in other towns, I had always told them that haha. But if you haven't tried this place, stop and go. Don't just drive by. I always tell myself when I want good food, look for small places like this, they always have the best food. But I definitely highly recommend this place. I haven't been there in a while besides two days ago but last time I know they also do have more live music on Saturday I believe when it is nice out. Might want to check with them. I was not paid nor offered a discount or credit to write this review. I wrote this from my own words and experience. This place is definitely worth my money. Have a wonderful day everyone and hope this review will help you decide to try...

I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this place and have been dying to try it for myself. Last night I finally went for it. I called for take out and explained that I had to drive a half an hour after picking it up and without hesitation, they told me they’d put everything on the side so it wouldn’t get soggy!! I assembled the PO Boys myself when I got home and OH MY GOD!!!!!! They were incredible! Very authentic and every part was done perfectly. From the bread to the flavor of the fried shrimp and the remoulade, it was better then expected! Even for a long distance take out! This definitely travels well. If it’s that good after sitting in styrofoam for 1/2 an hour then it must be phenomenal served immediately!! I will definitely be stopping in more often! Only reason I didn’t take pics was because I assembled it myself and did not want to take away from the art of it all. I’m sure they construct them like much...

Ordered the seafood sampler Cajun boil, hottest option. The seafood was top-notch fresh. Super fresh shrimp, mussels, and snow crab. Shockingly fresh and enormous. The sauce, however, was strange and disappointing. Color and consistency of Frank’s Red Hot, something I did not expect on a cajun seafood boil. It took away from the taste of the super fresh seafood, and it wasn’t very spicy being their hottest option. It had a vinegar tang that again detracted from the seafood. This wasn’t an Old Bay base sauce, it was a vinegar/ground red pepper sauce.

NOLA Cajun Kitchen, your seafood is fantastic but your boil sauce doesn’t hit. It is akin to putting ketchup on a beautiful aged steak. Please offer traditional Cajun boil seasoning

Source: I used to live in Shreveport, Louisiana. I ate/eat Cajun boils religiously and I’ve never had a sauce like this one. It doesn’t fit the food and...
