The restaurant looks nice and the lady at the drive-thru was very niceā¦to be honest, all the employees are usually very nice when I come by, however, the food is NEVER FRESH. I live close by so this is convenient but I always know Iām going to be disappointedā¦so why keep coming back? Well, because I think with such a high turn-over rate of employees that it might be fresh. And for a short time a few years ago it was fresh but those are far and few between. We decided to have a cheat day and I was craving Jack in the Box. My taste buds still remember growing up in the 90s when the food was always served fresh but those times have long since disappeared. We spent over $40 on 1 spicy chicken sandwiche, 2 tacos, 1 cluck chicken sandwich combo, 1 spicy chicken combo, and an 8-piece nugget and NOT ONE ITEM WAS FRESH. Plus when I got home I realized they forgot my $4.99 8 piece chicken nugget so I had to drive back to get my NOT FRESH nuggets. Seriously, I try to never complain but Iām finally to the point that I GIVE UP and I will NEVER RETURN to this location again and itās such a shame because itās so close to the nearby homes and hospital. I think if you ask customers would they rather have super-fast food or super fresh food they would choose fresh! Maybe introduce a new system and ask at check-out āAre you in a rushā and if they say yes then give them the stale food that has been sitting under the heat lampsā¦however, if they say no, then cook their food to orderā¦especially when your charging $11 for a chicken sandwich combo. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped by the Jack in the Box this morning, hoping for a quick and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from start to finish.
First, it took much too long just to place my order. When I finally got to the window, the staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. I ordered the Jumbo Jack, but when I opened the box, the burger was lukewarm and the "jumbo" patty was tiny. The "signature" sauce tasted like plain mayonnaise, and the lettuce was wilted.
To make matters worse, the fries were cold and soggy, and the "large" size was barely enough for a snack. Then, the older Mexican lady at the window wanted to charge me 50 cents per sauce even though I had just ordered 2 meals. The whole meal felt like a lazy, uninspired effort. The only good thing they had going was that there was no line at drive-thru, SURELY a testament to the poor quality of service they have.
Needless to say, I lost my appetite and I wasted my money. I will NOT be back anytime soon. There are FAR better fast food options out there. Jack in the Box needs to step up their game if they want to compete.
P.S. There is a Chic-fil-a right next door. They...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThree of my coworkers and I decided to eat at this location on Friday, June 10th, at approx. 12:15 pm. I placed my order and tapped my debit card once. The cashier told me, the transaction did not go through. She asked me to try it again. As she shared that they have been having issues with the credit card machines. I proceeded to tap my debit card a second time, as it registered as the transaction being approved. I didn't think anything about what took place. Today, Saturday, June 11th, my wife was checking our credit and debit card transactions. And, she asked me if I made two purchases for the same price. I told her, No. To my surprise, I was charged twice for one order.
So, now I go to Google to find the location and phone number to this Jack In The Box. I called the business number listed and no answer to my first call. I called a second time, once again, no answer.
This is an indication that the Manager On Duty has poor customer service skills. Or, is only working for a paycheck in her/his management position.
Why have a business phone number if no one is going to answer...
