Store is great products are fine meat/produce/fish fresh friendly people working here. Despite all of that goodness matter. There is always grouchy woman “utility lady” who always disrespects customers. I always witnessed her disrespect people not just customers but mostly her co workers. I heard people are always complaining about her attitude especially when you meet her in the bathroom disabled or non disabled when she’s cleaning she will gets mad at you when you use the toilet she will make you wait until she’s done cleaning everything where I found this such an attitude is not acceptable for this kind of company. What if something will happen when they stop their pee or what so ever. I even witnessed that she’s even yelling to her co workers acting like a boss. I heard alot of complaints from customers about this lady how she disrespected them. Moreover even always see her pushing cart from the store to her house every single day which I know that cart shouldn’t/cannot be take home by customers or even employees. “CALIFORNIA CART THEFT LAW” violation of state law b&p code 22435. Its not just once twice thrice happened this kind of matter. IT HAPPEN MANY TIMES OR I SHOULD SAY MOST OF THE TIME. So Im hoping management or higher will make her action accountability or even do something about this kind of action of...
Read moreI love how friendly the workers are. This is a market that caters to our asian and islander communities.
It is always very busy, between the people and the workers, but if you ask someone who works there a question, they are always happy to help and they don't rush you which I find nice as I'm not familiar with all of the items they carry in store.
You can always find something tasty at their grill (I'm not sure if its authentic tasting, but it tastes yummy 😋. They have beautiful produce and the fish market carries many fresh fish, a lot you can select yourself which is pretty cool. They have some of the best, thickest cuts of pork belly.
Highly recommend Seafood City, especially if you're looking for a one-stop market that specializes in asian/islander...
Read moreI pass by this grocery store, but NEVER shop here anymore. I want to know WHY this store has about 6-8 registers, but at the busiest time, only opens 2 registers, and on the verge of closing the other register because it is break time. Moreover, the cashiers are busy talking and yelling to the other cashier. Uhm, this does not aleviate the long lines. When I asked if they could open other registers, I was met with a zombie blank stare like I was out if my mind to even suggest it. Obviously, SEAFOOD CITY does not need my hard earned grocery money gas enough. I go across the street to Tambuli, or Uni-Mart or to Ranch 99 in Gardena, Pioneer/Artesia or any Asian Grocery store in Alhambra or Monterey Park. There, I get the...
