This is the update from my last review. The "Superior Grocers Market" used to be the "Numero Uno Market". And they have changed the name and they are under new management. When I arrived at the parking lot, there were many cars. Luckily, I found a parking space. I went inside the market. It was clean & well organized . I liked the interior of the store. They had a fresh-cut flowers section. They had a fresh fruits & vegetables section. They had good quality, fresh produce, and low prices too. I bought lots of vegetables and my favorite fruit, green grapes. They had freshly made tamales which you could grab and go. And fresh cut-up various fruits and vegetables. Also, I bought some cooked chicken and cheese. I bought a lot of food and the price was low. The total amount was only $44.15. When I was going to leave the store, I found a shopping cart that was only $29.99. It was nice, durable, and good price and I needed it so I bought it. This market had the lowest prices in this area. All the employees were friendly and very helpful. The only thing that I didn't like about this store was you have to pack your own groceries. Anyway, I liked their fresh vegetables & fruits. I liked this market because their groceries were low and they had good customer service too. If you would like to save money on your grocery bills and good quality foods, I would like to recommend this Superior...

And their staff at cashier is always friendly and helping. Good service. But the incident I am going to talk here, at the meat section. It happened more than one time that they discriminate people. Even we had number before the Spanish lady behind us. But guy working there never ask us for the number nor called the next number. But the guy just served the Mexican lady behind us from off the line. We were surprised. When we asked him why he is doing this, rather than explaining it or apology he just gave a sarcastic smile to the Spanish lady. We reported to the manager she was nice to us and came to meat section and enquired everything. But the guy was so mean that he lied that he called the number and nobody shows. But refuges to say anything for that we were 1st in the line what by this meaning nobody show. The manager tried to help us but it was not the meat we want it was for the attitude they have. Though the manger was tried to be nice that we appreciate but that cannot be negotiable with racial discrimination. We respect all people. They should have sign on the store "only for Mexican" Anyways we thank them for helping us for three years... But no...
ย ย ย Read moreLocal typical chain Mexican market but owned by what looks like an Indian or Middle Easterner. Produce is usually about to expire, not the greatest. I bought a pack of fresh garlic once and when I used them for cooking that evening they had no aroma and were dried up. The meat department is not so appetizing. It smells bad like death and rotten. Sometimes the meat has odd colors. Some products on the shelves look old and like 99 cent store quality but they hike up the prices. The bakery department looks ok but I'm still too scared to eat it. They do offer hot foods to eat but again I'm not ready to try anything because the store just looks like bad quality and unsafe. They usually have 1 cashier and a long line. But if they have more than 1 cashier they are still really slow and the wait can be really long...
