Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in West Chester Township

I placed an online order on Halloween around 12 PM. I placed the order so it would be delivered to me by 5:30 PM so we could eat before taking our child trick or treating. A little before 6 PM I still didn't have my order. I called them to figure out what was going on the female manager I spoke with was extremely rude right off the bat. Then kept making excuses about how it is their busiest day of the year. She then said my pizza was only just now going into the oven and it would be another 30 minutes before I would get my order. Mind you the whole time she was being rude and making excuses. Finally I asked to speak to someone else if she was going to continue to be rude. She put a man on the phone who was also rude and said well do you want the food or not. I can cancel the order. I canceled the order because of their crappy attitudes and terrible customer service. Also because it would have made my 3 year old miss trick or treat. They should have better customer service and hire better managers. They...

Literally EVERYTHING was wrong...first the delivery driver was lost for 10 minutes on the phone with me. Then i instantly notice they forgot my (2) 2 liters I mentioned it to the driver he said he couldn't go back and get it. I open my food and everything was either the wrong item or they got it done wrong when doing the order...Called up to the store to speak with another person and he asked for my name and when i gave it said i wasnt in the system, and hung up while i was trying to find a solution. But i have pizza receipt to prove it from the pizza boxes. They also didnt give me any plates or napkins for a large order...Worst fast food order issues and customer service issues i've experienced so far...training is needed in this establishment..also if your accent is so thick its hard to understand you in normal conversation you definitely should not...

I love Papa John's as a general rule, and this is the closest one to where I live now, so I've ordered from here several times. Usually they do a pretty good job, getting our orders (mostly) right although there are sometimes issues with the app delivery tracking and once we had a DoorDash driver try to deliver the wrong order (but another driver came with the right order soon after). The one biggest issue we have is that we ALWAYS ask for "light cheese" on our pizzas, but they have never gotten that right. The pizzas are always heavily loaded with cheese, which is not something we enjoy here, but we've yet to find a better tasting pizza nearby. Still would recommend Papa John's, and particularly this...
