Star Lounge & Bar — Restaurant in West Chester Township

We weren’t greeted for about five minutes upon arrival. Another patron told us to wait and they would be out soon. So we did. She came out five minutes later. She sprayed our table with cleaning chemicals while we were sitting there with our 6 and 9 year old and then proceeded to do the worst and weirdest wiping job ever. She cleaned nothing and left the table wet with chemicals but the crazy thing is that she only cleaned half the table. My wife still had sticky stuff where she was sitting. It was as if she had never cleaned a table before in her life. We both looked at each other like, “ Did that really just happen?” My son’s Over Easy Burger was actually really good. It was the best thing. The steamed pork dumplings were so so…….didn’t care for either sauce they served them with. The chicken tandoori was about a 7/10 but the sauces were also sub par. The rice with the chicken tandoori was bland and not seasoned at all. We both took one bite and didn’t touch it again. There was a long hair in my son’s fried rice (usually not a big deal but on top of everything else it was icing on the cake). The service was not good. She didn’t ask one time if we wanted a water refill or if our food was good. It was just a weird experience. My wife and I were both servers at several restaurants and it was like they just don’t know how to run...

This place used to be called the Trinity Pub, which was a British styled pub. While keeping up with the theme of a British styled pub, the new owners made it even better by adding an Indian menu (most pubs in Brittan have Indian food) along with the menu that existed before. Their Indian food is just awesome! This place has become our go to place with our friends and family.

They also have an excellent outdoor space which is very unique. There is a bike trail right by their outdoor area and it is extremely pleasant. We chose the outdoor space to host our son's graduation party with about 100 guests. The staff at Star Lounge did a great job of bartending and waiting for our guests. The food was super fresh and our guests loved it. The best part about hosting our party here was that the staff let us customize a lot of their offerings like letting us decorate the space, have extra tables outside, custom food items, etc. The party was a super hit!

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning for an outing with family, friends, or to anyone planning a huge gathering. The owners are very customer service oriented and have a great attitude. I wish the new owners...

Was a bit disappointed in my experience overall this weekend. The food looked great online and everyone had a lot of good reviews about it, but I found the vegetable curry a bit bland and my husband's butter chicken was really tomato-y. They were edible, but nothing to write home about, and super expensive for no reason.

Also, the service was pretty slow. I don't know if they were just understaffed that day, but the service was definitely lacking. And when the guy brought us our refills he definitely spilled some of our coke onto our bread and into our butter chicken and he just said sorry. I guess had we liked the food more or he spilled more in/on it, we probably would've raised an issue on it.

Also, the vibe of the place is super weird. They have a stage and dj/disco lights going mid-day and the seating is pretty cramped. We would've preferred to sit at the bar, but the only seating available there at the time was right in front of the front door on a cool day. Didn't want the constant draft from the door opening and closing. We probably won't be back. Just wanted to give the review as this place was not all it was cracked up to be by...
