Duwell’s — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I would have given at least 4 stars but I’ve been here twice and had two different experiences. First the ladies who work here are very pleasant. However both times I ordered the perch dinner, which was actually very good. My problem is the first time I ordered the large perch dinner and was given about six regular sized pieces of perch, I was completely satisfied with this order. Which is why I went back the second time. The second time I went, which was exactly a week later, I ordered the exact same thing, got home to find what appeared to be five perch nuggets. In other words, very small pieces of fish for the exact same price. This was extremely disappointing. The one thing I require when spending my money is consistency. I felt ripped off. The fish is good but they need to be a honest business and charge less if they going to provide less....

I am not sure what has happened but its not good. I ordered online and went to pick it up. Postmates said order was ready but when I got there it wasn't even started. Then I waited about 30 minutes to get my order. When I got it home the fish appears to be cooked in old grease. The catfish steaks were really thin. And we got some fish that was not even recognizable. The fries were cold. I was just really disappointed at the outcome of my food. The ladies were working really hard to get the orders out. It just seems like the place needs...

Worst fish I ever tasted . I have rhode pass plenty of times and decided too stop finally. The lady cooking the food was touching everything with her gloves from her mask too the door and her keys, back too the food. I watched her too see if after unlocking the door If she would change them. No she wet her gloves with water and went back too the food. Just nasty. The fish was over cooked & salty. Looked and smelled either burnt or it was just cooked in old grease....
