KenTone's Drive-In — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid I grew up like a block away, went there today and let me rant, first off it’s super expensive I bought a beef which was like 9$ totally to much and to top it off the meat was horrible the bread was dry and it was purely disgusting, my wife who is pregnant and will eat anything and say it’s good lol had a bite and said that’s the worse beef she ever tasted, so I didn’t even finish it I took 2 bits and the rest in the trash, on top of the bad food, the gentleman who took my order which has been there since I can remember I’m pretty sure the owner, his attitude is not welcoming I just felt like I was getting judged ordering lol just felt totally weird, rant over I will never again step food...

I passed by this place on my way to work, and finally stopped in for breakfast, had the plates of eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. The food was ok, just average, and nothing special. Food portions are ok, for the money. The restaurant is dated, and it's self-service , so don't expect too much. It's Moore of a quick truck drivers spot. I, Retired n 2019, I met a Friend @ Ken- Tone's 4 lunch . I live in Dolton , ILL. + I drove back n the City 2 have, there , Rib -eye 🥩/ sammage + fries 🍟. Mann O Mann 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾, Soo good 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Mee + My buddy ❤️ it. When I use to work ☺️ near there , l would drop by + pick up a couple of sammages 😛. I've been going there for bout 25 years , seen them gro . Food still 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾, Good.
