KFire Korean BBQ & Wings - Logan Square — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I ordered a takeout of their pork belly plate, but when I got home and opened the box, I found that the meat was severely burnt and inedible. I tried one or two pieces with the rice and salad, but the meat was so burnt and bitter that I couldn’t eat it.

I drove all the way back to the restaurant and asked for either a refund or a fresh plate. They refused to refund me and would only agree to recook the meat — but they wouldn’t replace the rice and side dishes, claiming I had already eaten them. As shown in the picture, I barely touched the sides, and I didn’t want to eat cold rice with the recooked meat after wasting my time driving back and forth.

I don’t understand why they were so stingy about replacing a bit of rice and vegetables when the issue was clearly their fault. Overall, the customer service was terrible and disrespectful — they treated me like I was trying to scam them rather than acknowledging that I was a paying customer with a legitimate complaint. I loved going to this place! We went a few weeks back when we were in Chicago for a concert and college visit and it was amazing. Great food and spectacular service. The staff were really nice and fun to talk to though I will say I didn't do much talking but my mom did and i could tell it was a fun conversation! If you do go you have to get the buffalo chicken dip and the hot sauce. We got some and I add the hot sauce to a lot of my food now. And the chicken dip is amazing. You can literally eat it as is, it's that good, heat it up for like 20 sec in the microwave and idk how to describe it??? Heaven in your mouth. Just try it (●♡∀♡)

Always hot, fresh and incredibly tasty. Authentic flavors and great service. Highly recommend the pork belly (spicy with sauce on the side is 👌🏼) and the KFIRE spicy chicken. The soy/ginger beef is also amazing. Always made to order but incredibly fast and never had a bad experience after ordering from here 10+ times. You will regret not giving this great Korean spot a try. I always go for the delicious kimchi and pickled daikon for sides because they are honestly some the tastiest veggies I’ve ever had and I don’t like veggies haha. Kimchi honestly could use a little more spice maybe but the flavor is delicious and not overpoweringly salty like some kimchi you get. Honestly everything is good....
