I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible taco restaurant, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.

First and foremost, the customer service was top-notch. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to answer any questions I had about the menu. They were incredibly patient and took the time to explain the different taco options available, ensuring that I found the perfect combination for my taste buds.

As I note in my other review, I generally do not post on local gems, like this that I don't want gummed up with crowds, but I really want this place to stay open, so here we go. This is a tiny restaurant tucked away along the industrial/residential corridor of Blue Island Ave. that has exceptionally spectacular food. Homemade tortilla chips and tortillas, molcajete that isn't too spicy, and the sweetest service you could ask for from the staff. We had the pozole and caldo the pollo which were very clean, bright and restorative. The mole isn't out of a jar and avoids the cloying sweet with no dimension that you can get at other places. The chile rellenos are flavorful and cooked accurately with good breading and delicious cheese and sauce. Did I mention the custom made corn tortillas that are soft, chewy and seasoned perfectly? Come to this place. It is not a "cheap" place so prepare to pay for the love and attention you'll taste...

Chef Agustin Bahena has done a fantastic job of maintaining a solid restaurant that is consistently putting out the best mole in the Pilsen neighborhood! He won the coveted Mole de Mayo competition 3 times! I love his spicy mole estilo Guerrero with chicken. My colleagues love his burritos. You cannot go wrong with food made my Chef Bahena and his team. The ambiance is warm and inviting. I like looking at the cool artwork made by local artists from the community.
