I was impressed with their healthy menu items. Had the Kale salad and cup of chili to go. Their salad to go container was a small square clear plastic that at first glance looked too small with all of it's ingredients squished including the dressing and condiment cups inside. I'm not a big fan of placing condiments cups or packets into or top of my fresh clean food ingredients. I would definitely ask for condiments be bagged outside of salads for future. As for quality and taste. Their menu doesn't mention that all of their produce is organic so had to ask and I was told they use organic greens. Which is a big plus bc I try to avoid any salad greens, fruits and veggies that are high in pesticides. As far as taste, once I arrived home and opened the salad, I was pleasantly surprised that while packed it didn't seem like much, unpacked and once arranged, it was a good portion for the price. The kale and veggies in my salad were fresh and crisp. Their in house dressing was also very good with quality clean ingredients! The cup of chili was small but hearty and very flavorful. It's exactly how I would prepare my own and I was very impressed with how well seasoned it was and had just the right amount of a spicy kick as Chili should be:) I will be returning to try some of their other items. I was curious about their Snickerdoodle cookie but never tried them before so $8 for 2 cookies was a bit much for me. I asked if they ever allow their customers to sample any of their cookies or menu items in general and I was told no. I would have definitely bought one cookie if it were an option. Would be nice if you offered your customers samples of small bites from time to time. It would definitely be an incentive to come back and try more of your menu items and specials in the future. I live in the area and had driven past this place almost daily and I'm glad I made the effort to find parking. Just like most of the city, it's becoming more and more difficult to find parking to even stop and visit spots like this. This is another reason you might consider appealing to new and returning customers that aren't walking distance to your new spot by offering lunch specials w/cookie or drink maybe and don't forget the complimentary bites:)
My compliments to you Chef Sarah for being "Locally sourced, Sustainably minded, Always organic and...

Each week, they deliver bright crunchy happiness in a compostable box. Delicious, easy, eco-friendly, and awesome folks too!
Plenty Goods has been a lifesaver for us! After the holidays, we needed to get back to eating healthy and break out of our unhealthy take-out rut. Plenty Goods helped us find our healthy, tasty, easy groove.
We participated in the 2024 February Veggie Challenge - each week, we select 10 meals - some from the current menu, others just made for participants in the Challenge. Participants could choose between vegetarian/vegan protein or animal protein in their meals. We chose the animal protein and were very happy. Although, NGL, seeing the term âanimalâ on my food does make me feel a tiny bit guilty about what Iâm eating, but not enough to go back to being a vegetarian. đ
Everything we tried was delicious, filling, vegetable forward and proved to be way easier than take-out. It is so convenient to just open the fridge and have a selection of healthy salads and bowls ready to go.
A have a few favorites, but the top spot on my list belongs tk the dark chocolate pomegranate salad - I know, chocolate, in a kale salad (?!?!) - but OMG - itâs sooo good!
I love going into the bright, clean, modern storefront and the team is super friendly and professional. Every time Iâve been, they have our meals ready to go for pick-up - making this an easy peasy stop.
FWIW, parking can be a little tricky in that location. As of 2/21/24, there are a few unmarked / unofficial âloading zoneâ type spots on the northbound side of Damon Ave. just north of Augusta. Knock on wood, Iâve never had a problem finding parking here, and TBH, Iâm in and out of the shop within one full cycle of the traffic lights.
So happy to have Plenty Goods in the neighborhood! Theyâve made a big difference in the way we eat and we look forward to having many more of their meals stocking our fridge...
Read moreI used to be a customer of KitchFix, a similar service to Plenty Goods, but they stopped serving the public and went corporate, discontinuing their weekly meal plans. A key factor for me in choosing a meal service is the use of high-quality ingredientsâat least 90% organic, fresh, and locally sourced. After researching for a few days and reading over a thousand reviews, I landed on Plenty Goodsâand thank God I did! Their meals are unmatched when it comes to cost, quality, freshness, and service. Most other meal service companies in the Chicagoland area donât even claim to use organic, local, and fresh ingredients, but Plenty Goods doesâand delivers on it. Their meals are prepared fresh weekly, packed with flavor, and offer great variety to keep things interesting. Coming from a Dominican who moved to Chicago from New York, I know good flavor when I taste it! I also have to mentionâI never take the time to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to give Plenty Goods a shoutout. If you're looking for a meal plan service that keeps you full, healthy, and out of the kitchen during a busy workweek, this is the community you want to join....
