BEWARE This place will try to add any type of surcharge possible. When my husband and I arrived, we got asked if we wanted chips and salsa, of course we said yes assuming they would be free just like any other restaurant right? WRONG. Although it was only $1 I didn't care about the price, but AT LEAST MENTION THAT YOU ARE GOING TO CHARGE! Also, be careful HOW you ordered, they will not be specific with you about anything and charge every little thing you think will be included in your order. Any left overs?? They will charge you for bagging without even mentioning it too!! I was mad when I saw the bill, we added up what we had ordered but it didn't amount to the final bill. I was craving Menudo, and it also happened to be a Sunday and I figured let’s give this place a try. My husband got a pozole verde and well, I got menudo. I personally felt it needed a lot more flavor to make it appealing to me. It was definitely not the worst I’ve ever had but meh! It sure tasted like a watered down soup 😫
I really liked that they were real quick to have it ready for me (I had ordered over phone and chose pickup). They have no personal parking so we just pulled to the side next to a parked car, in front of the place. Inside looks decent for a place that’s that small. I went in because my wife wanted a soup or something warm. She ordered the beef soup,according to her it was very good,enough beef chunks,soup had a good taste,plenty of vegetables and it came with a side of rice aswell with some onions,cilantro, hot dry peppers and lemon. I ordered 3 tacos,steak, al pastor and chorizo.tacos where good,nothing out of this world but enough to fill me and satisfy the hunger. Gave it 4 starts because when we got there the front part of the restaurant had dirty dishes in all the tables and we had to wait until she cleaned the tables,and all she did was move the dishes to other tables...and left then there until we left,about 45 minutes later .restaurant wasn't busy and the lady wasn't attentive at all.
