El Buen Valle — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Not setting this to 1, mostly because i was eating here before and this is the first time i catch the cooks lacking on their food. I ordered a couple of things today, specifically a burrito de lengua. It took a bit even tho i was told it would only be 10 minutes. When i got home and ate my food, in the middle of eating i saw a hair, looked mostly like a stub of one as the hair was thick. From this i assume they didn't wash their hands when making the food. Later on when i was done, minutes later I suddenly had the urge to gag, later on it developed into puking. The problem is that this is a very rare thing to do since the last time i puked it was a long time ago. This burrito i got specifically i never had problems with before. Editing my review because I have been going here for more than five years and this past year they have been changing negatively. Last week I was missing a taco when I got home which is blocks from here and the lady said there was nothing she can do because the person that took my order left for me to call the next day. So I went in the next day and explained and said that was wrong they should have allowed me to go back because if I was $3.75 short they wouldn’t say come back tomorrow and pay I would have to make my order less. The ladies response was everyone is different what do you want me to say or do? My response was give me my money. I was searching for a good taco spot. I was reading good reviews about Taconazo, that I now know is located on the corner and I stopped in here by mistake... But I am very happy with the outcome. Usually the beans that come with the taco dinner aren’t that great but these were pretty good. Flavorful rice, fresh hot tacos and a refreshing horchata. Hidden gem for sure.

*Maybe I start going too often and the cashier got tired of me asking for extra limes but I’m almost positive somebody dipped my tortilla in dish water. Everything was delicious then I got the nastiest taste in my third taco and the shell was a little soggy. Had my sister taste it and she said mop water . Very disappointed....
