La Quebradita — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I have visited many times,I have had almost everything on the menu.I really want to love this place but they are not constant with the quality of food. Sometimes the food is amazing,great taste ,good presentation and it feels like home made food but other times its like they are service frozen food directly from the freezer and barley warmed up in the microwave. They have specials and they are big enough to fill you for a good price. The appearance is not the best,dirty bathrooms and sticky tables are somethings your going to see during most if not all of your visits.... the only thing I say I like and the reason why its 3 stars and not 2 is the tacos de cecina.seriously the best in the area. Give it a try and hopefully you land in a good day and not one of those horrible I wanna call the city inspectors on...

I order picaditas which I had ate at a different location recently. I had a taste for them again and decided to go to this restaurant. I have ate here before in the past. The food came out cold. I believe they over creamed the picaditas. I told the waitress that the food was cold and she said it was because of the cream. The tortilla that holds the cream should NOT BE COLD! I didn't argue with her and said it was fine. I didn't want to complain any more because I felt I was going to get now where. I decided to write this review instead. I am a Mexican American. I love the food! The reason I’m rating 3 starts is about the service the waitresses never write the order down and there is always a problem with my orders. For instance today I placed my order huevos a la Mexicana with nopales. I told the waitress (Lupita) with beans and rice. She brought me an extra order of rice and beans when I told her she insisted that it was my request.
