🌟🌮 Raymond’s Tacos in Chicago, Illinois: A Culinary and Service Masterpiece! 🌮🌟

If you’re looking for the ultimate taco experience in Chicago, look no further than Raymond’s Tacos! This place is an absolute gem, serving up not only mouthwatering tacos but also some of the best customer service I’ve ever encountered. 🙌✨

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Raymond’s Tacos goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels valued and taken care of. Whether it’s helping you navigate the menu, offering recommendations, or ensuring your meal is perfect, their attention to detail and genuine care truly sets them apart. 👏💖

Now, let’s talk about the tacos—WOW! 🌮🔥 Every bite is a flavor explosion, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and authentic recipes that transport you straight to the heart of Mexico. The carne asada is tender and smoky, the al pastor is perfectly seasoned, and the vegetarian options are just as incredible. Don’t even get me started on their homemade salsas—they’re the perfect finishing touch! 🌶️🍅

What really makes Raymond’s Tacos stand out, though, is their commitment to their customers. They remember regulars by name, take the time to check in on your dining experience, and even go the extra mile to accommodate special requests. It’s clear that they truly care about creating a memorable experience for everyone who walks through their doors. 🥰💫

If you’re in Chicago, Raymond’s Tacos is a must-visit. Amazing food, a cozy vibe, and customer service that’s truly second to none. This place deserves all the stars and more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went to Raymond's Tacos to get 4 chicken tacos, and I come home to see they're not chicken tacos, they're beef tacos. It's the reason why the place is only cash, plus they never give anyone a receipt for anything. I had someone call to tell them that they made a mistake, so I'd be able to get the 4 chicken tacos that I ordered. They told the person on the phone that there was nothing that they could do about it. Whenever they make mistakes, it's never their own fault. They say it's the customers fault when they make a mistake. They wouldn't even do anything for me to get the right food that I ordered. Plus, the Raymond's Tacos is so unsanitary. They really need a visit from the Chicago Department of Public Heath. I might just contact them just to let them know how nasty the place is. It's such a horrible place. I basically wasted my money on something I wanted to get, but I didn't get the food that I ordered. Then they tell me that is my fault, and not their problem. I would advise anyone to never go to Raymond's Tacos. The place is not worth it at all. The place is disgusting, plus they will steal your money giving you something else that you never ordered to make the customer suffer. They don't care about the customers at Raymond's Tacos. They only care about themselves. They're a horrible establishment. They have homeless people begging for money when you walk into the place. They don't do anything about it. The place is not a place to be welcome at, it's a place where you'll never want to even walk into, because it's just a disgusting and horrible taco place trying to rip people off. I advise anyone, NEVER GO TO RAYMOND'S TACOS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE IT'S MUCH MUCH...

If you for some reason believe you’re being overcharged, you are….. intentionally! After ordering what turned out to be mediocre tacos, we prepared to leave. Given we had only ordered 8 tacos, a torta, and 3 horchatas, the math wasn’t very difficult to do in my head so I prepared $60 in cash to pay. The cashier turned around and said $81…….. slightly threw me off but I gave him $85. When he came back with my change, I called his bluff and asked for an itemized receipt. After playing dumb for about 5 minutes, finally got my receipt and ran to the back and didn’t see him again prior to leaving. He charged me for about 12 tacos, a torta 4 sodas, 4 horchatas and bottles of water. Mind you, it was only 4 of us. After calling over our waiter and had him repeat what we ordered, I showed him the itemized receipt and he refunded me about $25.

If you’re not careful, these guys will intentionally try to rob you. Read other reviews on here. I’m not the first this has happened to. Beware...

Got to try this gem of a taco place on Taco Tuesday, and it is definitely worth the drive to Pilsen. The tacos here at Raymond's are as good as advertised. I ended up trying their asada tacos, lingua, and al pastor. They were all amazing and so delicious. They give you extra sauce and its so spicy, but so so good! Their asada burrito was stuffed with so much meat filled with the right toppings inside. I must also their horchata is near the top of the best horchatas I ever tried. So so good. Prices are reasonable especially during these difficult times. It was quite the drive for me, but I have no regrets because it was definitely worth it. Service was fast and prompt. Friendly too. They follow all thr Covid protocol. Parking is metered or you can just park on Damen for free. Definitely will come back again in near future!

Totally unassuming place, I saw in an article online they are ranked highly as one of the best tacos spots in Chicago. So I figured I’d go check it out. I went to the location on the south side at Damen & Blue Island. I ordered a pastor taco and ribeye torta. Both items were average. I’d have to say the salsa was not as spicy I would like either. They don’t have chips and salsa available, I found that kind of abnormal. Be sure you bring cash as they don’t accept credit cards. The ATM in the restaurant is often utilized. Overall, I would say it’s a good taco joint, but I didn’t agree with the article that said they’re one of the best in Chicago.

This location is light-years ahead of its Fullerton location counterpart, that's first and foremost. No menus needed, for everything served is written above the kitchen area. ~$13 snagged us 2 coke cans, 2 al pastor tacos, and 2 ground beef tacos; now keep in mind these tacos were loaded with cheese in between the two tortillas. Another tip, ordering carne asada tacos will land you tacos with seasoned ground beef, what you want is tacos with ribeye steak.
