Shark's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Avoid This Place at All Costs! I had a terrible experience at Shark’s Restaurant on Cicero. The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When I went to pay, the man at the register scanned my card, printed a receipt, then said, “Wait one moment,” and tried to scan my card again without explaining what was going on. When I asked for clarification, he started yelling at me like I was the one at fault.

To make matters worse, the cook came in from outside while on his cell phone and began handling food without washing his hands—not even once! I brought up my concerns about the situation, and instead of addressing them, the staff acted like I was in the wrong.

The lack of professionalism and hygiene here is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and find another place to eat. This is not the kind of service or cleanliness anyone...

The manager that came to fix our order was really nice and helpful. We got our first order and the fish was raw and the fries was greasy and cold. The chicken was not cooked all the way through. The light skin young lady that answered the phone was rude and not very helpful. The dark skin young lady was very dry and didn’t seem like she wanted to help nor be at work. She kept playing in and on her ear and rolling her eyes. The light skin young lady wasn’t doing any work she was in the waiting area with her boyfriend talking. The place isn’t what we was expecting it to be. We are from out of town so it was very disappointing. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND. Get a better cook and better help. PLEASE MAKE SURE FOOD IS BEING COOKED AT THE CORRECT TIME and LET IN TO BE COOKED CORRECTLY. You can get someone sick by trying to feed...

I called in a large catfish to the Midlothian location and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I get there in like 25 minutes. I waited 15 minutes in line only to be told that they were too busy to cook my order but I could wait 5 minutes and it would be done. What catfish cooks in 5 minutes! First and last time going there! I will stick to the Posen and Calumet...
